fedexman
A quick update on your adopted classemates from 2006... The Polish Prince Paulie and I are settled into Llano Grande RV Resort in Mercedes Tx. Paul's dad is here at John Knox Retirement Village. He will be 94 in March and he seems to be declining more than we had anticipated. We have decided to bite the bullet and purchase a small single wide here at Llano as a homebase. Both of us are having some health issues...a recent test Paul took indicated that now BOTH of us have Crohn's Disease (how is that possible...it's not contageous as far as the doc says ). I have been having back problems and went for an xray and bone density test. I have 5 (can you believe it?) 5 compression fractures in my back and my osteoporosis is getting worse. Crap. The doc wanted to know how I was able to walk, and said most people would be incapacitated with one. I guess both Paulie and I have high pain tolerences. I have also registered for a sculpture class that starts in January and ends in mid May. We hopefully be ready to travel by then. We will be heading to a wedding in Muskegon MI and want to spend several months with family in both MI and IL. Merry Christmas to you all and have a wonderful and safe New Year wherever you park your home on wheels. lelandschliep
I just love hearing about the weather everywhere cause it ain't warm here but I guess since we're just in Montana for Christmas and New Year's we'll survive. Being with the grandkids makes up for most of it. It got to a high of 20 today and will be 9 tonight. That's pretty much the forcast till mid March I guess. While that's pretty normal it sure isn't helping with Cinnamon's regularity. Every watch a dog try to walk with all four off the ground? Happy Holidays everyone. sandsys
Every watch a dog try to walk with all four off the ground? My Mom bought boots for her dog which helped a lot. I guess getting cold stuff between my toes would make me uncomfortable too. JoeandMarcia
Molly the "MARGARATOR" made its last batch this past summer in Nashville. We had good turn out for the services, and laid it to rest in one of the Nashville areas finest landfills. I'm sure it is having a good time with all the other discarded items. We couldn'r replace the "MARGARATOR" so Marcia did the next best thing, and bought a mini blender. patricia90518
Currently "enjoying" the same rainy weather as Norah and Howie, just a bit further east in Indio, CA. I'm planning on being in Q sometime in January after the FMCA rally here in Indio and a quick trip to the Slabs with some of the FMCA SI's. Don't know where I'll be parking as I am a member of several groups that are gathering at various locations. norahg
Norah - where will you be parked? Not completely sure Trish... we have been toying with looking for a spot at La Posa South a bit closer to the "real road" hoping it will be less dusty. I'll post the coordinates once we get back and settled. Norah Norah & Howie Christmas Monkey's Excellent Adventure Blog
