Lost our seasonal site in Punta Gorda, Florida looking for known available seasonal camping

It appears we are going to lose use of our winter seasonal site in Punta Gorda, FL and need to start plan “B”. If anyone should have reliable information on sites from November to April of 2023 it would be appreciated to hear of them. We are not committed to Florida and would entertain Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona the further south the better.
Thanks All and have a great day.

Good luck, it’s “difficult” finding spots under normal conditions even in AZ!  Can’t speak for TX but there’s going to be a lot of unhappy snowbirds this fall thanks to Mother Nature!  Sorry for the negativity but I believe it’s going to be a sad reality!   😔

We've been looking at Harlengen TX. It's a fairly large city with many things of interest, in addition to the WWII memorial. Not as breezy as the rest of the Rio Grande valley. South Padre Island is an easy drive away.

Only downside we're aware of is driving distance from East of the Mississippi, compared to SW Florida.

Ray, some news for you about Harlingen.  It is still windy there.  We stayed at the upper end of the RGV at Mission and it was still pretty windy.

Last we stayed there wind was not nearly as strong as on West up the Rio Grande valley. But then we were just West of 77 headed North, parked in between two permanent trailers. We could sit under the awing without being bothered by wind.
