Should I change my def?

The def that's in my tank is from when I drove it home last April. I have no way to know how old what was in the tank was when I Picked up the truck. When I started it up a week or so ago to take it out of the garage it was showing nox codes. I was wondering if it was advisable to start with fresh def.

When in doubt, just do it.  Is there a drain on the bottom of the tank?  Death Juice is cheap.  The stuff in my tank is about 8 months old but I'm not getting any codes.  But, I only drive mine bout once a month.  Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
