The security boys at Fire Lake just requested another case of Alka Seltzer. Boy that must have been quite some party. There won't be enough of that Baaaaaaaaad Whiskey left to fuel a humming bird let alone that Flux Capacitor.

Hdrider; Hey Dave thanks for tipping me off about that early shipment. I hope you didn't stick around for that party that BaaaaaasdWhiskey is a widow maker.

Finally found a home! I have been told for years I ain't got no class! We are liquidating 45 years of married stuff and hope to be full time by July. The fifth wheel and truck are in the drive and yard sales are planned. Living room looks like a flea market! Anyone want to buy a house for half price?

Our internet has been hinkey these past few days and so happy belated birthday and anniversary wishes to you guys.

Dianne and Tom, glad to hear that things are clearing up for you two!

Lee, thanks for clearing up that ice cream machine thing for me!

We're guests of the Navajo Nation here in Chinle, Az. Moving on to Moab, UT tomorrow. No beer allowed on the reservation and Utah doesn't sell on Sunday...didn't plan this part very well!

Steve, where do I get some of that Baaaaad whiskey or cranberry juice!

Welcome aboard Bruce & Darlene. You can see by reading the posts that you don't have to be crazy to be in this class but it sure helps. When you come to one of our get togethers in January and meet us face to face. You might realize we are not very normal but by then it will be too late. We'll have grown on you as family. So jump right in and join the fray.?

If you come through Oklahoma stop at Shawnee and help me get my hands on that Icecream machine. If Steve catches you pretend you don't know me. Then Steve will probable buy you dinner. He'll probable try to tell you a lot of stories about me. Don't believe him.every one in this group is crazy except me. And I'm begining to wonder about me setting here at 6AM posting this from my cell phone.

An old Air Force buddy just called and filled me in on how they spotted that load of Baaaaaaaad whiskey. He had got all his buddies who were AWACS pilots together and covered the globe with AWACS planes and when they noticed a trail of vapors going from the PNW out over the pacific that left a trail of drunk sea gulls and terns they realized that Joe had got tricky and sent that shipment the long way around to get past all the Gremlin and Goblins that would be looking for it over the US. Joe must have sampled that shipment for quality a few too many times. He didn't remember that by going the long way around it would have to cross the international date line and loose a whole day. That gave us plenty of time to warn the security boys at Fire Lake so they could be there when it arrived. Pretty sharp thinking. I'll have to give the US AIR FORCE credit on that one.

We made to Colorado Springs yesterday and boonedocked at the Elks. Will move to Cherry Creek tomorrow hopefully before the snow starts flying. Yuck! This is toooo early to be here. Oh well. We do have a wedding soon.

Tom and Dianne I was going to complain about having to close our slides Wed. night because of the wind but it wasn't 5 nights like you. Wow and you had a lot of snow too.

I believe I heard talk of a cloaking device for the famous ice cream machine. That way its whereabouts can change without being noticed. By the way that ice cream is real good. enjoyed it a couple of time while we were there.

Stay safe.

Hey Steve,

You were right, if we pulled the ole Bait and Switch on them it would go through. They fell for the Open Container just like we planned, and all we lost was just enough of the BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey to give a few of them a good hangover. Now that you have the required amount there you can fuel up and let her rip. That Ice Cream machine will be so well hidden they ain't never finding it. However you do need to watch your step, I picked up a rumor in the Time Warp about them sneaking up on you and using some of that BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey instead of Water in a kind of Waterboarding on you to get the location.

Hey Steve, Don't get in a hurry to sample that shippment of BW you got from Joe.

You'll find that it is second hand from after the party or green tea and no telling which is which. I wouldn't want to spread any diseases.

It seems that every time I say I'm going to leave here the weather man starts cussing and yelling Snow (sorry ladies) for the place I'm heading. I don't have much choice this time. My 14 day limit is up for this park. Oh well, I guess I need a litte excitement in my life. I'll hook up and be ready to go early in the morning. I Don't really expect it to XXXX there and if it does it will just be a dusting. Now watch it make a fool of me and XXXX 2 feet.

OK, lets talk abut FireLake casino here. Did you know there were two of them? One called FireLake Grand and the other just FireLake? Both in Shawnee, Oklahoma? People got confused so the Grand apparently dropped FireLake from it's name. I didn't know any of this so I am now at the wrong FireLake casino. I don't think there ever was an ice cream machine at this one. But it has sewer hookups instead of an uphill dump so I think I'll just stay right here until this incoming front passes by. Unless security finally shows up and wants too much money. Most casinos don't want too much money for RV parking, though, so I'm not worrying about it.

Happy anniversary Steve and Carol. Hope the photography convention was a good one.

Linda we came from the Tyler, Tx. and stopped at that casino. It looked different from what we saw on Google earth and it wasn't next to I-40. I asked some guys and the said to continue to I-40 up Hwy. 177 then go toward OKC. You're really close, less than 10miles. Think its exit 178. Ice cream.

Yes, not far away. But not worth driving in this wind. I don't like ice cream THAT much. Plus I'd have to unload my Scoot to get me to the machine and I can't drive it in the rain. And I do like have a sewer connection at my site instead of that casino's uphill dump in their parking lot. So when the storm is done here, I will fill my water and dump my tanks and head on towards home. In the meantime this place is quiet and my neighbors are a lot farther away than they would be at the Grand. Sorry to miss a meet-up with Steved44 but they aren't home this weekend anyway.

Well I got to Portales, NM and Oasis State Park. The drive was long but uneventful I don't really care for this park. The sites all have a pronounced tilt toward the road and they are bordered with large rocks with real sharp turns. If you tried to negotiate them with a very large rig you could end up stuck with a lot of damage. The non electric sites are seperste from the main campground. The pond is way out in the fields. I'm the only rig in the non electric sites. Oh well, Its home fore the rest of the month. I'll make the best of it

It was 88 degrees when I got here a little before 3. And They are predicting freezing weather and possible snow tonight. Wow. What a change

Hey, Lee, talking about shooting the bull, I bought one (a bull), in Portales years ago. It was an American Breed bull, which is part buffalo, milking shorthorn, Charolais, brahma, and Herford. I had that bull for many years and used him on my herd of angus cows. The calves he produced were small at birth, but the hybrid mix gave them a nice selling weight, so it worked out pretty good. He was big, but docile and we sure enjoyed owning him. That was back in my "cow punching" days. Now on to more serious matters. Linda Sand uncovered one of our secrets. She found out that we had changed the name of the casino to throw IYQ off the trail. Nuts, I was hoping with all the electronic flux capacitor, space time continuum, façade, I could mask the fact that we secretly had changed the name of the casino. I'm at a impasse to figure out the next step. Hmmmm must circle the wagons (the ones in my mind), to study the problem and to consider all options in this strategic planning process. That makes me tired, so I think I'll take a steve (woops that's me) oh well, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Interesting thing happened today.

When we were in Overton we needed to dump the tanks but did not want to stay in a park overnight. The office at Robbins Nest RV park is only open from 9-2 pm so we snuck in after 2, chose a site and dumped. We put a note in the drop box with a $10 bill. We got an email from Vicki at Robbins Nest a couple of days later saying "thank you but we are not licenced to allow just dumping" and in the future could we use the Fun in the Sun RV park which charges $15 for dumping in one of their sites which is very difficult to get into. Vicki and I have become friends and today I get an email from her saying they are now licenced to allow dumping for $10. I feel that I instigated this and feel good about that. So now we know. When in Overton, Nevada, dump at the Robbin's Nest.

So sorry to hear that you will be dealing with wind... what a crazy spring for everyone. Talked with Jeff yesterday via phone, and they are having snow at Cherry Creek, as are we here in Ft. Collins. We had two more inches of snow overnight! After today, it is to be beautiful... here's hoping! Travel safely, Freddy & Delcie, and here's to a great summer! Will be seeing you there in about a month! Safe travels to everyone out there on the road!

Good to have a telephone chat with you yesterday, Jeff. Did you get more snow there overnight? We woke to another two inches! Enough! Hoping the sun returns soon, and the weather is to be as great in the week ahead as forecasted!!! Thinking we will arrive at Cherry Creek on Sunday... will keep you posted, and look forward to seeing you and Tina soon!

We are at Cherry Creek and it's snowing. Yuk! The trees don't have any leaves either. Suppose to be real nice this weekend.
