  9. As for Borrego Springs... we have spent time there the past two winters and really enjoy the area. Tasty oranges and grapefruit, and nice farmers market each Friday. Some good info on the Wheelingit blog if you search Borrego Springs and Rockhouse Road area. We will probably be there around mid-December into the new year. Sounds like we may have a gathering in Borrego Springs in the making Also like the Ogilby Road area, west of Yuma but still in CA... were there last year with Tina & Jeff and Carol & Steve, and Nancy & Dave stopped by for a night. Lots of good boondocking in the desert southwest! Be well, everyone! Dianne & Tom

  15. Yes, thanks Jeff. Fun to see folks you know in a magazine! We felt that when we were new to Escapees and saw the 2012 Quartzsite photo. At that time, Nancy & Dave were the only ones we knew. As for the current Escapees magazine... great article by Nina (WheelingIt) and the photo by her hubby, Paul, captured the special time boondocking with Canadian friends in Borrego Springs in December 2013. In the photo, clockwise from Tom: Edie, Terry, Karen, Harry, Shoko, Denise, Skip, Jean, and Bob. (Yep, that's "our Denise" in the yellow sweatshirt Borrego Springs is a "go to" boondocking spot for us in winter... look forward to more gatherings this next December/January, and will miss those of you wintering in the east. Be well, everyone! Dianne & Tom
  16. Hi Lee... sorry to hear about your confusion regarding the title for the new rig. Can be most frustrating. We want to share with you an experience we had regarding New Mexico registrations, hoping that you might avoid a similar situation. A number of years back, while Colorado residents, we purchased a travel trailer from American RV/Camping World in Albuquerque. While doing the purchase paperwork, they asked if we wanted to register it in New Mexico. We were surprised, and they told us it was perfectly ok to do that, even though we lived in Colorado. Great, we thought! It was much cheaper, so we paid the fee and registered it in New Mexico... only to find out later that Colorado REQUIRED that it be registered in Colorado. We told the county clerk that the dealer said it was allowed, and she explained that, of course, it was ok to register the trailer in NM, but had nothing to do with Colorado's rules. Ca-ching... New Mexico made a few $ off us unknowing purchasers So, we recommend that you demand that the dealer take care of your South Dakota registration, and get it done once and for all, properly! Good luck! Dianne & Tom

Congrats on the new home, Diane and Glyn... know you will enjoy it! Hoping the house plans are coming together well, Sue & Paul, and that you had a great visit with your son! Delcie & Freddy... hope your slide problem has been resolved! Sending out our best to everyone in our Classless Class! Travel safely, have fun, and be well! Tom & Dianne
  21. There IS a dump station at the Pima County Fairgrounds, in addition to the full hookup sites... we are there now, and had been told about it by the office staff. Tom just went to see it with his own eyes. Yep, it's there! We're headed to Benson today... project time at Saguaro SKP park for us next 3-4 weeks. Look forward to catching up with others in the area! Be well, everyone! Dianne & Tom
  22. Where's the auto correct when you need it? That's Quesadillas. Have another margarita and it won't matter... right, Maryland?
  23. Big THANKS to the Swains and Porters for the tasty quesedillas and margaritas last night, plus the pinata full of candy! Tom and I enjoyed helping with the serving, but it's important to note that the four of them provided and paid for all the quesedilla makings and the margaritas for this group of Classless folk. So, again, THANK YOU Sue & Paul and Julie & Mike! A tasty, fun gathering!
