Carl, I may be wrong but I believe pin 1 is 12vdc from battery, pin 2 is signal to trigger (probably scr pack) to determine the called for setting, pin 3 ground, pin 4 power out to motor. pin 1 to 2 should be open (power - ground) pin 2 to 3 would be across the signaling leg, pin 3 to 4 you are reading across the output to the motor, which would probably change based on signal on pin 2. Don't know what the reading should without knowing what is inside case. Ken....

Using my HDT every day driver for almost 3 years and have been in every store or food lot that I want to go. I even did drive thru's when I couldn't go inside to get food. Had wife drive truck to keep out of overhangs and I walked next to it to order & pick-up. Before HDT had long bed, crew cab dually and did the same thing. Ken....

Below are the instructions from On The Go. Copied straight from the instruction. Step 5: Add the correct amount of salt into the top for your softener. - One full 26 oz. box of iodized or non-iodized salt for the Standard model. - Two full 26 oz. boxes of iodized or non-iodized salt for the Double Standard Model. - Four full 26 oz. boxes of iodized or non-iodized salt for the Park Model Water Softener. A few Ways to add Salt - Pour salt into the softener. - Mix salt with warm water and pour the solution into the softener. - Pour salt into the softener while periodically pouring water slowly over it with a cup. In extremely hard conditions, also use 1-2 teaspoons of Super Iron Out for the Standard Model, 2- - Rinse for 24-30 minutes for the Double Standard Model. - Rinse for 50-60 minutes for the Park Model Water Softener. Step 7: Increase water flow to a full stream. - Rinse for 3-4 minutes for the Standard Model. - Rinse for 6-8 minutes for the Double Standard Model. - Rinse for 10-12 minutes for the Park Model Water Softener. Step 8: To verify the regeneration process is complete use the hardness test strips to insure the water at the OUTPUT of the softener is soft. Soft water is 0-3 GPG. I used the 12Vdc from the trailer in cable and used the ground lug marked brake ground. I'm thinking about running a separate 12Vdc from the battery, but I want to switch it so it isn't hot all the time. Thinking about a relay triggered from the 12Vdc that I'm using now.
