  1. Probably only for standard def, if that's even still available.
  2. It's Renogy, not Renology. Look at Outback and Magnum.
  3. It's been tanking for a few days, but today is a nice Christmas present.
  4. I believe Escapees has a lot of information about this.
  5. From the same article: "So it isn’t salt (NaCl) that gets added to your water, it’s sodium (Na)."
  6. I had an On-the- go years ago, but I have a suspicion it destroyed my metal shower drain.
  7. No. 11 am... a time Uber chose for me. I Force stopped the app, I even reinstalled it. Same results. I even had enough Uber cash to pay for it. The moment I deposited to Uber cash my Amex card notified me of possible fraud, immediately.
  8. There's more. Today I tried booking 2 hours in advance. No matter what payment method I used, it rejected all of them. That was an hour's worth of fun, trying to get that to work. When I got to town at the rental car return, I booked a ride immediately, no problem. The driver's English was so bad I couldn't understand a word he said. Good luck trying to contact anyone at Uber.
  9. That must be it.. thanks. I've been getting offers on my phone for meals.. etc. I have no idea how I did that. All it said in any of the Paypal notices was "billing agreement".. nothing about Uber One. Anyway, the cab ride from Henderson to Lake Mead was pretty cheap, and on time and in a clean car.
  10. I rarely use Uber, but, I'm in the Las Vegas area and do need it. I'm experiencing some very strange things from them. I tried to book a trip a couple days in advance using their app. A driver texted me immediately and said he was 'on his way.' NO NO.. I replied ... in 2 days!! He replied "ok", and I thought that was the end of it. An hour later I get a bill through paypal for $12 for a cancellation. Today I see a bill for $49.99 on my Paypal account for signing up for a "billing agreement", which I did NOT knowingly do. Either I'm getting senile or somebody's hiding these "you agree to..." things in the fine print. Anyone else have these kinds of issues?
  11. Lol. Too bad the pump limit isn't gallons instead of dollars.
  12. When you're in the Las Vegas area, and dig old pinball machines, stop by the Pinball Hall of Fame and check out their store kitty. He's a big 11 yo bruiser and loves affection. Found him on the counter.
  13. Okay, I know these as buck converters. Why not just get the Victron which can be paralleled?
  14. I parallel 2 Schauer 48v chargers just fine. I don't really know what the difference is between a charger and a 'bulk converter.'
  15. These people are not going to like what I have to say about them...is what I originally typed, but since then my internet is working! I hammered on these people for 4 days to get online, and it's about time since my phone is getting low on hotspot data. I don't know what they did, if anything, to fix it, but they aren't volunteering any information, so I'm not going to press it. Out of 5 techs I found one that knew what he was doing, and we could text rather than annoying phone calls. I much prefer text as it's direct and to the point, as opposed to voice where things are more prone to misunderstanding and getting side -tracked. And sometimes the inflection or emotion in a voice can be unnerving and convey a meaning that isn't intended.
  16. No kidding. It was nice while it lasted. Probably headed back to $700
  17. Wow.. excellent. I was going to comment that as a high-energy user you're going to need big battery power, but it looks like that's covered.
  18. You should hear the pet names I have for people who live in podunk towns. For some strange reason I cannot type in the reply area below a quote.
  19. No, I'm old enough to remember when an attendant pumped. I have not seen a pump then pay gas station in probably 30 years. Maybe they still exist in some podunk small town where they don't have credit card readers .
  20. I have never been to a gas station that allows pumping then paying. A family on vacation should have way more than $200 at their disposal.
  21. And here I thought it was done by each individual station, since they're all different. What's really doesn't make sense is when a sign says they do because of "drive offs." How the heck does one pay for gas then drive off?
