any insulation i would add would be supported in at least two ways. and must be water resistant, then the under belly protection.

well nufe said, just wondering if a 12 volt heating pad really works to keep the holding tanks from freezing up? my rv is not winter rated. but a little work can be workable. for now just looking into heating up the tanks (fresh is inside), and then some kind of layer to try and keep the under belly a bit warmer. no not looking at spending a winter in Alaska. just more to not have problems for when i go someplace were the night temps will get below freezing.

i have a number of them in my s&b house, use them all year and not one problem. it helped a lot to keeping the ash from the fires out of my home. i have nose and lung problems, and i do not have any dust flys in my home, (those little things floating around you can see in the sunbeams). most of the air is forced into the filter, but all the other psi from the fan does get blown out back past the sides of the fan blades. this is not the best. but works great. i even have a smaller one (twin fan thing) set up to pull in filtered air. it also helps cool the house in the summer heat.

i have never understood driving out onto ice, drilling a hole just to fish. but then i never have been much of a fisherman.

lots of "free" water out there. but not all is "good" water. pump all fresh water into your rv through a filter, even if from home. if needed can buy at a food store,(pricey) hardware store,(worst choice) and then the "filtered" water in the dispensers outside of many stores.(you need 1-5 gallon jugs). out of a stream/spring/etc, but you need a pump, and best use filters, chem treatments, as well as MUST know the source, and quality of the water. for just a short jaunt from the s&b, i carry about 60 gallon (factory tank), spare 60 gallon bladder, and two 5 gallon jugs. (till/if needed they work great to hold down the awning). works great for a week or two. in the forest where i live close to, grey is ok to dump.(pending location).

i have heard of such, but never needed them for any dog i have had over my lifetime. when a dog knows "this is were i live" they do not go where they sleep. and most all dogs will go to great lengths to make there human happy. so if you make a big happy deal of going "there" that alone works wonders. but never punish for going in the wrong place, just correct with lots of love and fun when your dog does is/her duty in the "approved places"

want to clean up the air you breath. and on the cheap too. for ac voltage just get a 20 in (frame size) box fan. and one of the s&b home central house heppa filters just tape the filter to it and run on low or med. same basic thing with a smaller dc powered fan. just some might need to build a box frame to mount it all in.

i had two loving rotts, never a problem. if the humans can learn, (that's the hard part) the dogs will know where it is ok, and where not to. heck first time i took my girls camping (tent) they were hurting as there back yard was not there.

i can only base my thoughts on MY life. not others. sure if some are so ingrained in "high tech" that if the power went out they could do nothing. but my life does not revolve around this computer. when i go to work my house is all but unpluged. (from the ac power that is). as to there costs, the puc regulates "other" common things, like the phone cost (or at least used to under "ma bell"), power cost, etc. yes i do believe in the "free" market. but some items the government needs to just control price increases for some things. but like i voted with my wallet. did not pay comcast for a year, only re-upped so i can try to sell off things (hard to off my phone). i got so much stuff. and if i retired today, where would i put it all? storage co$t$. and i sleep during the day work over night (weekends) so just for me most of my band width usage is during the week when most are asleep. it is now 1:pm Saturday, and time for my breakfast and get out to go to work. but with the forced job losses, and illegal required stay at home "orders" just more reason for comcast to cut there pricing.

in this day and age there should be O date caps, and places like comcast should be forced to cut there rates in at lest 1/2 if not more, and the $$$ hurts the "poor" the rich have found ways to charge it off to others. or as a tax deduction. i am not a computer nerd. but even i use up band width (how much ??). but a data cap is like saying you have made to many phone calls this month. so we are doubling your per phone call rate.

as a commercial truck driver living under fed law. pot is and will remain to be a class one controlled drug till it comes off the drug testing list. as if someone smoked it and i accidentally got there smoke in me i can lose everything. as my job has a NO reason policy, even just a booze test of a trace and i get fired with cause. (trace can be a mouthful of mouthwash that is spit out). loose my job, forget about getting another driving job and I can lose my class A also. thus will lose my home truck, and forced to go bankrupt. so if you must do this drug. please do it down wind of me. as it really does give me a headache. but as others here have said, cross a state line, heck maybe just a county line and trouble comes. as you are not rich or famous. so the da will not go easy on you.

true, as i know of nobody who has gotten a case of even the sniffles, nobody i know same for them. now as to the warehouse crew... they love to find reasons to not work. guess they are independently wealthy. many call in sick, or just work a couple hrs and go home. lucky for them it is a union shop. and then my work hrs are long. i am up now only cause its my weekend and i have been working on a project all night. (my work hrs are over night).

first i heard was just last night. but then i do not always tune in the nightly lies.. er i mean news broadcast.

earlier this year (2020) i was up in sparks nv and a company was setting up a rv "show" one unit i liked the floor plan. it was a used unit looked like carp. one rim was from a utility trailer. very poor waxing job, calking was falling off, inside needed cleaning very bad. and they wanted top dollar for it... as is. if i had a offer for them it would have been 1/4 of there asking price. i will keep my 2001 sunny brook (bought new) for another number of years till the "boom" goes away.

not to worry as you might get to take another shot with the NEW strain coming out of The eu. just heard about it last night on the main stream news outlet. not made it into the USA...yet. but will be here by the 2021 winter flu season. but then if this shot, provides any protection. maybe by then the government mandated lock downs will be lifted? and some say one will have to have a "card" to prove they have had the shots. but then no need to worry about the when, where, or how one can get a shot. as here in ca they are (state of ca) is saying one can get a drive-by injection. same way the testing is getting handled. will be done by spring of 2021. no need to show id. or even prove you live here.

receive all my bills on time and with no problem what so ever. i pay by computer, due to some how my creditors get the check a day late. so they can charge a late fee. and thanks to the government shutting down everything. i buy a number of items online, and shipped to my po box, so i am helping to keep the USPS open. the USPS tracking is not so great, up-dates are slow if at all. stuck in my s&b for six more years. (job, family).

dash cams are great protection. and entertainment some times. but as to not wanting your video to be seen pocket the chip asap. there used to be this motor bike rider ( country? not english speaking). he posted a lot of videos of his crazy riding in traffic. could not understand one word but his cussing out every one. one day he was just driving his car, had a accident. the other driver died. the other drivers family sued him cause of the videos. and the state put him in prison for life. so any video of you doing crazy or stupid should never get posted online. or seen by anyone.

i am waiting for "mr nuke" or what ever that name was, in back to the future. just dump in some garbage and go. and there is tons of garbage along our hwy's.

i had written in the same part of my posting. i had been told long ago, i have no facts to say other wise. just want i had been told as a kid. i guess kinda like how to catch a pigeon. ---- just put salt on it's tail. changing the time, to me is a fools folly. at 61 and having been driving (for pay) since i was 15 years old. i have seen many changes, but none have any reason to truly say it gives farmers more working time, as with flood lights on tractors they can work 24 hrs. only shut down time is in the rain, snow. or maybe heavy wind. but not always.

as a truck driver (mostly in ca) time changes are just a annoyance. as i work a 24 hr clock. show up at X time. be "there" by X time. night (dark) day (light), whats the diff? but i would like it were the government just stopped playing games and obeyed the rules. i have never understood changing the clocks, i once was told it gave farmers more day light to work in? how? as back then most farmers just got up before the sun came up. and did not stop till after sunset, and never worked by a clock. noon was when the sun was it's highest of the day.

i was not saying wasp spray is all that great, just legal everywhere. it is something, and as proven a crook/druggie all hyped up can have his hart wiped out by many bullets and still keep on going. so nothing is fool proof. any kind of spray can comeback on you. but as someone not involved in policing. or into crooks, i tend to believe most street level (or lower), if not stopped. at least confused long enough for your second line, or a hasty retreat. as to a bear. most will do everything to avoid humans. but if they want a snack..well. i have spent a very large amount of time in the woods, sometimes miles from everything, so I know i have been stalked by a cat or three, and most likely a couple bears. so in the decades never a encounter. maybe to them i stink. or just how i act they think there is easier food elsewhere. might be cause of a gun or two on me? but i lean on just how i act more than anything else. avoidance is the best policy. as for the two legged critters another story.

be very careful as in some states the amount of % can be a crime to have. as in ca you (not police) can only have those little worthless hand held cans. but wasp spray is legal in all 50 US, states and canada, mexiso??
