Cell Booster - any recommendations ?
pjstough replied to time_traveler's topic in Technical Tips and Tricks
Another thing we have noticed about the inside antenna that came with our system and that is your cellular device, whether it be a cell phone, or a "mifi" device, they needs to right on top of or very close to the inside antenna for best performance. -
Cell Booster - any recommendations ?
pjstough replied to time_traveler's topic in Technical Tips and Tricks
I believe it is limited to a boost of up to 50dbm, but can be used while driving down the road. We have the Connect 4-G with has a boost of up to 65 dbm, but is made for stationary use only. The important think to remember is that there has to be at least some signal for the booster to boost. -

Not everyone is lying to us. One of the secrets of life is the ability to recognize the truth when you hear it or see it. Although, I am a skeptic at heart, I am a lot less skeptical of what scientists say as compared to others.

If you dont have a pin, you just need to put in your address when asked. No pin needed.

Certainly the stores are partly to blame for the run on paper products and hand sanitizer. No way should have stores allowed people to buy cart fulls of these products, and certainly not pickup loads or truck loads! In my view, the people who were buying these products were not buying for personal use, but to try and create a shortage and gauge the public. Hopefully, they all got stuck with hundreds or even thousands of dollars of stuff they cant use or sell. I am glad that Amazon and Ebay caught on quickly as to what these scum bags were doing.

I would have the jacks up and change one of the solenoids for the one of the jacks and the one for the slide, and see if this made any difference. The fuse for the slide out solenoid may be burned out as well. Also, there is a troubleshooter for HWH who accepts calls. Paul Maddox mobile - 602-549-3638

Virtually all negative comments on here about Good Sam are because a lot of people dont like Marcus Lemonis.
-
Evidently, you must have just taken someone else's word for what Lemonis actuallysaid. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/16/marcus-lemonis-if-youre-ok-with-what-trump-said-dont-shop-at-my-business.html

If you are a Marcus Lemonis, Camping World, Gander Outdoors, Good Sam hater, RV Travel is an excellent source of information!

Think twice before dealing with Camping world right now

In addition, Good Sam evidently had an exclusive contract on fuel discounts for RVers with Pilot Flying J, and when Good Sam found out that TDS who had a contract with Pilot Flying J for their trucks, but extended the deal to RVers, there was a conflict, and Good Sam enforced their contract with Pilot Flying J. -

Just more hate from RVTravel. -
Interesting that someone revived this thread. We have the WeBoost 4G Connect, and for best results we place our mifi device or cell phone directly on the indoor antenna.

It is not too bad a road, however, driving through the Salt River Canyon at night your first time can cause some white knuckles.

It is harder to kill off the USPS when it is operating well.

The first time we had mail sent to General Delivery in Tucson we were not aware that only the mail post office received General Delivery mail, and we had put the wrong zip code put on the mail that was sent to us. When we went to the main post office to pick up our mail we explained to the clerk the mistake we had made. Two different went to look for our mail, and after about 10 minutes one clerk came back with it, and explained our mail was in with the Postmasters mail. We were thankful that the clerks went the extra mile looking for our mail, as they have just as easily said, it is not in the General Delivery mail, sorry we dont know where it is.

Thank you for the update.

Hopefully, you and the neighbors brought this to the attention of the Postmaster.

If the regular carrier is getting his mail, wasting time until noon, the Postmaster needs to be notified, however, if the Postmaster is requiring the carried to do other duties before starting to deliver at noon, that is a different matter, but I would call the Postmaster with your concern anyway.
-
No, tracking does not show when someone tried to pick it up, but tracking should show the last time and place it was scanned. Does the recipient get their mail in a PO BOX or on a route? If on a route tracking should show if the item was checked out to the carrier, and since it was not delivered, tracking should show that delivery was attempted and notice left, and then it should be checked back into the post office, and should be where undelivered certified mail is placed. If the recipient gets their mail on a route, then it may have still been with the carrier, and he had not returned to the office yet. The Postmaster and the sending office can only look online at the tracking, however, the Postmaster at the receiving office should be able to, not only check tracking, but be able to physically look for the mail piece.
-
The tracking number should provide information as to where it was last scanned. Had the recipient received a notice from the USPS that there was certified piece of mail for them at the post office where they get mail?

We had decent internet speeds when in town, but if I understand things correctly, the tower in town that is located at the intersection of Main Street and Hiway 95 does not provide signal north to Plamosa Road but one east along the interstate and south of Quartzsite along Hiway 95.
