  1. food for thought, Mini splits pull far less for same or better cooling.
  2. If i may ask Chad, How low do you pull your batteries.
  3. Now that summer is here and sun is plentiful we can run acs 24/7 and use no park power. Now if we run the clothes dryer, we will run out of battery before morning sun. That dryer really pulls the wattage. Really think I will use a gas dryer in my house or maybe heat pump dryer. Have to research that more. The mini splits are doable with my system. I intend to have additional solar on our property. Solar fairly cheap. Batteries costly.
  4. We will not be making but one more move. From this park to our property. I may not get it registered this time. It is actually only 5 mile tow.
  5. Also can't get a vechile inspected on weekend. So even if I got weekend off couldn't get it inspected. I finally found a person to do inspection unseen. It is illegal. I am glad it is over.
  6. I am very happy about this. It is a pain to get mine inspected. With work I be on place long time and registration comes due and I can't get it inspected.
  7. A mini split will not operate a gfci. So why would an rv?
  8. What really sweet about our mini splits we can run them on solar.
  9. Rod, I have a Pioneer unit. I have a dehumidifier setting but never used it or needed to. I hear several speak about high humidity with LG units. We don't have that problem. When temps get cool we just change to heat. Hear in Texas not unusual to use both same day. Fan runs all the time ours in use.
  10. Rob is likely asking about the one in his Spacecraft unit.
  11. Winters can be brutal in that area. Sure you want to stay there. That the reason rv parks close.
  12. Actually this is early action. It will likely change before law
  13. 13000 watt of inverters and 21kwh of lithium batteries with 4500 watt solar
  14. microwave will run on the inverter. Everything in our camper does.
  15. Maybe so but charging senior citizens like this that only drive to grocery store and back would be a burden to them and unfair.
  16. I tied into my primary air tank
  17. Chevy put 3.73 gears in all Duramax. But this is gas so might be different
  18. Not yet. At RV park close to property. Got a logger coming in next week to remove all the trees.
  19. Also I am finding now that we are stationary I don't burn but about 10 gallons fuel a month. Drive the Smart. At 20 cents per gallon that ev tax would not be very fair.
  20. We have to get our vechiles inspected each year in Texas. They record mileage. It goes to DMV. Looks like a simple way to regulate mileage for taxes.
  21. Many years ago I cut open a cat and took the insides out. Welded it back up. Anytime they looked under it still there. But this was before electrical emissions testing.
