  1. During the night it got cool in our Teton and DW turn on heat pumps. Woke up to batteries fully charged so batteries got low enough that the inverters switched over to shore power and charged them up.
  2. I have it setup for SBU. Solar, battery, utility. Reckon find out tonight how good my batteries are.
  3. Just now started pulling some from batteries.
  4. Added microwave in convection mode and now mini splits in cooling mode. Still just solar power. I put my surge guard monitor inside my Teton. It staying on 0 amps
  5. Finished my wiring today. It is a pleasant day. 60 ish and full sun. Both mini splits are in heat pump mode although not much heat is needed. TV and such running. All on solar. Pulling around 1200 watts.
  6. Nothing grafic about it. Can't find on YouTube now either.
  7. The fact that Battleborn is replacing all of them is smart of their part.
  8. I posted due to a few on here using this same battery.
  9. Be aware I know of no phone that will let you choice between 4g and 5g. This has been a problem for me. Have been in the fringe area and 5g was still there. It was poor service. Guys with 4g phones playing videos no problem. I couldn't. Now that is with Verizon service. Have never had T-Mobile. Always head bad for full timers
  10. I have a 5g phone but since coming to Huntsville TX where my property is it is nonexistent. While working close to Houston I would get 5g but it was no faster than a solid 4g and sometimes slower. So from my take not worth upgrading for 5g. Now if time for a phone yes.
  11. No idea how that could happen. It works in it goes in and out and stays where it is put. Just stopping every foot or so of travel in one direction only. Worked perfectly before the motor gear stripped out and I put new one in. I couldn't understand either why controls were reversed. Can't plug it in wrong. I reversed wiring coming out of controller. I will put a monitor on it tomorrow. I have a 12v drill battery. Going to disconnect wiring tomorrow and bypass controller. See what happens.
  12. Some time back I replaced motor and spring in our awning. Ever since controls have been reversed. It would go out good but come in by stopping and having to restart it. Simply release switch and enguage again and it go. Have to do this several times to get in. Yesterday I reversed wires to get direction corrected. Now it comes in good but going out is problem. So has nothing to do with spring tension. Does this with remote and wall switch. It works but is a misterery to me.
  13. You have a first rate system Chad. I went a cheaper route than Victron. Time will tell if good choice or not. I have no problem with 48v system. I did have a hydraulic problem and thought mistakeling it was voltage problem. But I also have electric levelers so not as much 12v load as some. I was considering Scheinder XW Pro. Decided against against it as it was 6500 watt rating. David Poze did a you tube video on that unit. He has no gas appliances at all and runs his whole house with this inverter. It will handle way more than it is rated at. If that had been posted before my purchase I would have went that route. My inverters will handle 500v mppt each unit. I have 4500 watt of panels. 10 total. I have ran 5 to each inverter. I getting avgerage of 233v into each inverter. May go higher on cool mornings with lots of sun but haven't checked. I just ran #10 pv cable to inverters. As many know on here I have Leaf battery packs totaling 21kwh. I have not verified the kwh though.
  14. ?????? Don't understand what that has to do with my question
  15. Thanks, Got them ordered. Couldn't find local
  16. Not real happy with my neutral connections. Using two inverters so utility in is 50 amps so two hots and single neutral. I have a bulky bussbar joining 1 in and two out to make two neutrals. Taped it good. Just looks bad. Do you know of a better way?
  17. I have Progressive but I went thru Miller. No problems at all.
  18. I am going to be blunt. If they don't want my business, they know where they can stick it. I would call another company. Escapees address is proof of residence. They are being butts
  19. Yes a test light can fool you. You are making the ground with it..

    b&w hitch

If your fifth wheel has air ride hitch it would likely be good. I have used one on my previous DRV and a dually. It floated right along. Now preferred way is air ride on truck. And a ET hitch would be easier to mount also. It comes in from behind between the frame rails and bolts in. Run an air line and you set. If you put a B&W on it would be too tall on top of rails. You would need to weld in a plate lower and mount to it.
  21. I picked up the wire last week. Decided to get in there and remove the wiring from the old unit I had in here. The wires runs on top of a steel beam behind my sliding doors which separates storage from tanks. That unit had dual outputs so 4 sets of #12. Guess what I found when all those wires removed? My 6/3 land line cable. Teton ran them to there, across and back to breaker box. Sweet. Made this easy. Went ahead and mounted a new inboard surge protector. Made wiring easier. Got inverters wired and tie in ready to be made. Got rather warm today and didn't want to shut down air conditioner this evening. Do that in the morning while cool.
  22. Front axle not designed for continuous use. If you go this route remove front and replace with rear. What you stated was done when the first few were converted. They fail. Lesson learned.
