  1. I washed my camper yesterday. Wished I had done this when it was cooler. Anyway my panels will shock me if I touch them. Now they were wet. Is this normal? If I put a ground wire on will it stop it?
  2. home depot has a Media mini split window unit. $500.00. pulls 12 amps max.

    Day Cabs

Be aware daycabs are short haul tractors. 500k miles is probably life of one
  4. I have 2 all in one units. So two different mppt controllers feeding same battery pk. Works fine. Also both units have dual mppt controllers so I could have 4 feeding same pk if more solar added.
  5. My 2003 residential unit ran fine with our 1100 watt Victron. Our new one pulls less.
  6. Only thing on mine is refrigerator and it doesn't task it at all. Now mine is residential. Gas units pull right much power..
  7. I put a victron phoenix 1100 watt in mine. Runs a 22 cubic ft residential. Dead quiet and very little idle draw. I did this for traveling so I don't have to run the large system. I just it running all the time.
  8. Wife has Verizon and I have Visible. Mine is faster than hers.
  9. I have never read anything about this. DW brought this up yesterday when I decided to wash it. I said what about a thunderstorm? Well it is cloudy them. So I'm asking
  10. When I wash roof panels will get wet. Is their any chance of them cracking from being hot and water hitting them?
  11. Inspections in Texas may be out of here soon.
  12. I watched a YouTube of a roof where membrane pulled up and made a bubble at front edge. He fixed it himself but there was zero glue where it bubbled up.
  13. We done with traveling. Only other move will be to our property.
  14. I read some complaints about mini splits and humidity issues. Now that we are in triple digits it is now cold at 75 degrees. And surprisingly it is colder in living room area that bedroom. I have 12k unit in both. So even mini splits can be oversized. Our bedroom would be colder with a 9k from these observations. We are actually wrapped up in here at 75 degrees. It is very dry also.
  15. That back section would be an easy fix. Remove rear trim at roof edge, roll back and reglue. I would at least make them fix that. It will give you trouble.
  16. Actually I forget my Teton is behind me. And it is 21k. But I do have a nice air ride hitch also.
  17. Mine are fairly balanced. My dishwasher will throw it off but just change legs will be the same just on different leg. We rarely pull more than 30 amps. Think it was the inverters called for more charging power than was available.
  18. My units pull from solar and batteries for coach power. If solar enough no battery used. Only use utility in bypass mode. Set to go in bypass at 51v. I have seen 80 amps going into batteries with utility power. Seen 55 amps with mini splits running with solar. Think we were just using much more due to the triple digits heat and overloaded the park when it switched over. With full sun we are pulling 4000 watts from our panels. I changed my charging to 30 amps for each inverter. Will see if that corrects this.
  19. I have 2 6500 watt 48v inverters. I set charging at 50 amps on each. This has been working fine. Yesterday was hot triple digits. Acs pulling more than normal. Keeping us very pleasant though. DW washing clothes. Our batteries never got full charged yesterday since we were using solar for power and little to none left over for charging. About 10:00 pm everything shut down. Dishwasher running, dryer running and both acs. Batteries got low enough that inverters shut down. Found 50 amp main at park thrown. We did notice a small lasp of power earlier and shruded it off. Think that when it switched over to utility power and breaker tripped. Do you think I need to back off the charger setting?
  20. I don't even know what it is for
  21. I wasn't getting any decent mileage out of the original tires. At 25k rear wore out. Replaced with same. 50k now and worn out again. So asked about better mileage tire that would work on car. So installed a 195/50. stock was 185/60 r15. Tires are 1.06 diameter smaller. My speedometer is now 10 mph off.
  22. I have a heated hose and it is blue.
  23. Our Teton came with a residential fridge from factory. We had a gas/electric unit in our DRV and hated it. Always something wrong with it and never cooled well in the summer. We love the residential unit in our Teton. It recently failed and our unit is a 2003. I replaced with another residential unit. Mine also runs on an inverter so it is always on as long as I have battery. And solar charging battery also
