  1. clogged cat is easy to find. While in park just floor it and watch rpms. They drop.
  2. I can't say this. I have worked 12hr days 360 days straight. Have worked 100 hrs a week for 2 months straight.
  3. Clean it good, shiny, paste and silver melts at higher temp than regular solder. I always use a brazing tip. Brazing tip allows concentrated heat so you don't burn up the copper. I have bridged 1/4" gap with silver. Great product. Very strong. Even made jewelry with it but i weld for a living also.
  4. I went on crazy seal site and it stated silicone based.
  5. Well all are automated manual transmissions. I can't comment on the diesels.
  6. Crazy seal is silicone also.
  7. Speaking of repairs I can buy caulking tubes of Henry's tropic cool. Used that for mount screws on solar panels.
  8. I am very content with Henry's Tropic cool. Mine been on a few years now and still looks great. Only drawback I see is it slick when wet.
  9. Well removed it and bypassed it this evening. Called Southwire and left message.
  10. Well it is still noisy. Believe it is louder now. I may bypass that unit and use the pedestal one. Fairly sure it is faulty. Researched and none reported doing like mine. This morning when it switched over loud thud and unit shut down. My batteries provided power for us but display dead. About an houre later came back on. Had fault and show hi voltage on L1. But when it came on started that thudding noisy. Do this for about an hour. On and off with noisy. It is loud enough to hear even with tv going. There is a contractor in there that engages if power clean. Think it is not closing good.
  11. I never cover ours. Well back up on that , covered with solar panels now.
  12. What is your rv? Mine is 20 years old also but in great shape.
  13. if he goes with spray on roof, which is the best and most cost also no need for membrane. They can spray right over wood. If my roof had been that bad I would likely went that route. Mine was in good shape just wanted it sealed before solar.
  14. Found problem. My mount was a piece of plywood screwed to a piece of thin plywood. It vibrated. Didn't think it would make that much movement to cause that. Removed it and bolted to floor. did place a 2X6 on floor to raise up.
  15. I used Henry's Tropic cool roof treatment. Clean with pressure washer, allow to dry and mop on.
  16. Just do it in the mornings. Have my inverters set to change to shorepower at 51 volts. This happens in the early morning hours. This is when this starts. But not every time. So I thinking when the 3550 starts sending current thru it does this. After an hour or so stops. It loud enough that we hear it inside.
  17. When I hooked up my shore power to my inverters, I installed this surge guard. It works just fine. But just this week it has started making a noisy. It comes and goes. It almost sounds like a bus coming and going. It will quit after while. It has done this twice so far. Just this morning went out and found what it was. Have display inside and no faults or anything. Can a relay make this noise. like it internally vibrate for a short time
  18. I bent a leveling jack my last pull. Had to cut off and fix at destination. So stuff does happen.
  19. Spent most of life in NC and visited SC a lot. Yes Nuclear is big there. Most of my welding jobs there were chemical and nuclear.
  20. I was commenting on the graph. Only list NG for all of Texas
  21. Mine is showing 0 percent and is at 56.60 volts. Max is 57.6. Why isn't showing a percentage correctly? Now that it is fully charged it went to 100%.
  22. With some many windmills in Texas surprised it only list natural gas
