  1. Emergency exit not but 15" opening one way. 42 wide but that 15 not working. So glass will have to come out. Watched some you tube videos and seems fairly easy. Window is 42x48 so plenty opening for fridge. Bad part forcast is rain that day it arrives
  2. Just discovered I have an emergency exit window in the living room. Check opening size tomorrow.
  3. Mine died. Found a replacement at Home Depot but it looks doubtful It will fit thru door. Mine is a 26cf unit. Any one else changed with this size? Saw a video about it. Went thru window after it was removed
  4. 44v cut off as low as I can go with my inverters. Man I got mine from suggests 57.4 max. Cut off at 40.7.
  5. We all mention ah capacity. But most don't charge to max or discharge to minimum. Do we don't get rated ah in the real world. So say 400 ah rating what are you guys getting? I have my cutoff at 48v.
  6. Solar output to batteries is 3600 watts today. Not bad for 4500 watt panels flat this early in the year
  7. Oh I can add now it not comfortable.
  8. Well i have one now. Had to get one quick and all that was in stock. Our spring broke on our Sealand unit. Simple job to replace. Done it several times. When removing the old spring, when removing the screw to shaft heard a crack. Shaft came out with screw. Well that not replaceable. So off to only rv center here and all they have is this Thetford. Only problem installing was mounting bolts. Mine had four and new had 2. Well no bolt slot for this position. So got my Dremel tool out and made two slots. I thought about rotating flange but lots more work. The drain goes right to a 45 and no room for a coupling. It is a cheap plastic unit but we just didn't like idea of using park utilities while we waited on a replacement to come in. Seat not as comfortable. Some what taller so wife says. She is only 5'2. It does clean the bowl much better. Front pedal we love. No more lifting up for fill. It cost $209 plus taxes. Seat is basically just thetford part.
  9. We tried chemicals when we got started rving. Quit that fairly quick. Chemicals stink. We just use lot of water and no problems
  10. One of the reasons we use no cash. They still get our cards though.

    air lines

Can make you an air supply at back. Comes in handy.
  12. There are several heat pump dryers on market now. Have seen a few 120v units too. They are mostly 24" wide perfect for rvs. They are on the high side dollar wise but use very little power. I have no used one but intend too later.
  13. As long as we have good sun we can run everything, just like we were on utilities, and still enough battery power till sun again. Raising the voltage made a big difference.
  14. Signature Solar now sells a unit to plug into 30 amp generator and deliver 100 amps to battery. Clean energy.
  15. I have 2 6500 watt inverters with built in charge controllers.
  16. I was concerned about using my mini splits for heat as no heat is ducted in there except with furnace. I have lithium batteries so they need to stay above freezing. Now I don't know how other brand inverters behave but mine put out right much heat. I opened up storage yesterday and it was warm in there. Only mini splits in use. Now that was in upper 40's. So I see no need for concern now.
  17. I personaly don't like a pickup bed. Can't side load an item. And if sides are needed can always with stakes put a side on it.
  18. Yesterday I uped my voltage on my Batteries. 58.8 is 100% charge. Set it on that. float at 58.0. It was in the low 40's last night and we still have 51% of battery left this morning. Used no furnace and kept it warm in here. We used 200ah. Very satisfied with this.
  19. Sorry about that. I meant to type Battleborn. I was all connected to Victron and just goofed. Check out Bigbattery.com.
  20. A local windshield company replaced one in an rv here this weeks. Stopped and talked to them. Stated common job. It was a frameless one also
  21. Just checked battery usage. I am pulling 156ah from my batteries. Charging to 56v. Full charge is 58.8v. Only discharging to 49v. So very conservative. I could charge to full and discharge to max but not needed in this park as electricity is included.
  22. Better to buy a 48v battery then if this is true
  23. I question how strong my batteries are. When I got them wasn't the options we have now. So my batteries were used leaf cells repurposed for this. When I get settled on our property may get more storage. I have plenty of solar. When sun out they supply all we need and charge batteries. And our days are still rather short now. So more battery use and less solar
