Twotoes
I have never been to Glacier NP and am planning a trip next Aug. I have a 43 foot DP and it looks like all of the campgrounds have a max limit of 40 feet. What nearby parks would be good for a 3 or 4 day stay? How far is Flathead Lake from the park? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Kirk W
Depending upon where along Flathead Lake you are thinking, it will be between 40 & 70 miles since the lake is about 30 miles south to north. Campground Reviews has a lot of listings for RV parks between the north end of the lake and the park. While we did stay in one of them, it was too long ago for our experience to be of any value now. bobsallyh
Twotoes, if you are an Elks Lodge member, the Kalispell lodge has an RV park. This is what we use when visiting Glacier NP and the area.
RayJay
We stayed at North American RV Park last September. It's west of the Park, easy access, no Wifi, and Poor Cell service. Would definitely stay again. Later... lenp
If you don't mind dry camping there is a Forest Service campground about 35 miles east of the Glacier West entrance. Had my 40 fiver and tow vehicle in a space very easy. https://www.forestcamping.com/dow/northern/flatcmp.htm#devil creek Lenp Quote USN Retired 2012 F150 4x4 2018 Lincoln MKX 2019 HD Ultra Limited 2024 HD Triglide
