It works as advertised, and approx. the same brightness as an OEM porch light, I'm satisfied. If you want more/brighter light, here is a 12V, 30W LED motion detector outdoor light. I know if I'm sleeping and there is a sudden flash of light I'd wake up. Motion lights could come on even if a animal walks across.
