Ice Cream Social has resumed at Escapees Turkey Creek RV Village
jc2 replied to chindog's topic in General RV Information
I find this information interesting as a noticeable increase in the "newest variant" of the virus is supposedly occurring in the Branson area, Springfield, Mo and into the northernmost counties of Arkansas. π· -
π Well said.

I believe the original poster stated several posts back that the jacks might be a E-Z-Glide System?

Your welcome, glad to help.

Snowbird in reverse - leaving thermostat on cool or off?
jc2 replied to justRich's topic in General RV Information
I would leave the ac set @ 80-85 degrees. The interior will thank u for that. Do u have anyone @ the park who can periodically check for u occasionally? Extreme heat/cold is not good for dwelling interiors. -
1 is the warmest, 5 is usually the default setting and 9 is the coldest.

Odd tire wear...should I replace them?

1. It would appear to me that your first priority would be to have the front alignment checked. 2. What brand are the tires? 3. In my opinion, your tires should have been replaced before now; think ageing out. They are no different than regular rv tires which have a similiar requirement for replacement. 4. I would be very hesitant on trying to get more miles from the current tires. -

Thank you. Good information. -
Not as uncommon as u may think. Many times I have noticed that animals seem to act more intelligent than some people that walk amongst us. ππΊ π

Kind of surprising that they do not have an IT person oncall weekends in the event operational situations with the website come up instead of just letting it languish until Monday.

We use SeaFoam and a few ounces of Biocide.

We bought one of these several years ago for a previous MH and were quite pleased. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YI95ZC/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_7?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 They also come in white.

We have always gotten the flu shot and on occasion will have a some brief discomfort afterwards; sore arm, blah feeling for several days, etc. but we get over it. It is ur bodies reaction to a foreign body being injected into it. Small price to pay. The other day I got the 2nd of (2) pneumonia shots and felt nasty for about 36-48 hrs with a very sore arm and blah feeling.

Approaching 200,000+- deaths in 6mths sounds damm serious to me and there is no cure at the moment for Covid. Oh I forgot, those numbers have maybe been manipulated by someone for some reason. π

Curious as to why you think suggestions given by medical professions are "ridiculous". Do you think the ostrich, "head in the sand approach " mentality that some people have adopted has maybe resulted in part to some of the 160000 +- people losing their life to this reality?

We will, on occasion, turn our onboard pump on(we make sure there is water in the tank) to get a higher flow from the existing cg hookup especially if the CG is full.
-
Billr Is what u unscrew on the pump itself or separate. We're having draining problems and am thinking something might be plugging the screen mentioned.

I've only bought extended ins on rv related equipment (1) time and that was years ago when I had just started rving. IMO, The rv industry quality leaves a lot to be desired and so called salespeople use this to sell "scare" insurance. My advise is to wait untill the warranty that comes with what your buying is close to ending then maybe address again. Companies selling this type of insurance will still be there and will still want to sell . BTW, when I did purchase the insurance (1) time, the price "is/should" be negotiable as we ended up paying 60% less than then the original quote.
