Our TV quit receiving a signal. We have replaced the Antenna, Antenna Cable, Booster and even TV. We are unable to get any signal. Ideas?

Have you scanned for channels?

First you must power up the antenna, then you must power up the booster, then you turn on the tv. Next you go to the imput/menu or whatever your tv has to select over the air for the imput. Then you have to scan for the channels. Then you should have a signal IF there are any in your area.

SteveRC, welcome to the Escapee forums! Are you in a location where you have been receiving TV and suddenly it stopped, did you move to a new area and not don't get TV, or what is the senerio leading up to the current problem? If you have a typical RV antenna it has a built-in signal amplifier that must be turned on in order to get any signal from it. To turn it on there is normally a small button on the face of the jack where you connect the lead from the TV to the antenna. It usually has a small, push button switch, an LED power indicator, and the antenna jack.

There are several different configurations but they usually look similar to this one. Since you say that you have replaced the antenna, may we assume that means you connected to a different antenna, or do you mean that you replaced the one on your RV's roof? And are we also correct in assuming that your problem is the TV in your motorhome?

If its a home TV and ifffffffffffff all the cables are intact and booster is powered up and working ???? be sure to go into Setup and select over air TV antenna NOT cable then do an auto channel scan.

If its in an RV, is there an in house stand alone booster amp     or       on some the amp is in the antenna head assembly and the unit inside is merely a 12 Volt DC injector. On some that use the inside 12 volt power injector there is a small LED indicator lamp up on the antenna head assembly SEE IF ITS LIT UP ??? If it has the outside booster and inside 12 Volt injector, insure its powered up an ON (may have small red pilot on indicator lamp) and the cable from roof antenna goes through it then to the TV, then again go into Setup and select over air antenna and run a scan.

With a new TV and new booster and cable as you indicate hope its just a setup problem...….

Perhaps the coax between the antenna and booster is broken? Have you tested it for continuity?
