Parrformance
May I ask if any one knows the part # for the towing eye retainer pin? I have secured two new towing eyes(VO 20434198), surplus from DEX heavy duty parts, but I still need the hitch pins. Parrformance
Good idea, I was thinking a large grade 8 bolt and nut from TSC, didn't even think about all the farm implement pins near the back wall. I would think a pin large enough to fill the hole should have enough tensile strength for the weight of the truck/jeep/trailer combo? 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee

I knew what I wanted when I called with appropriate part #'s, I suspect this made it easy for them to assist me. 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee
DesertMiner
Are you local to their warehouse and walk in to order your parts? I always have the parts numbers ready when I call.... I guess I should give it another try. Thanks. I had to get the pins from the dealer....
Parrformance
Ouch dealer pricing was high on the pins:( 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee
Parrformance
They also have a customer service e-mail, maybe this might be a alternative? They mention it when you get placed on hold early in the tape. 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee

Moresmoke
I use a 3/4 ×4 hitch pin from fleet farm. And I got the tow hook from VanderHaags.
rickeieio
It's my understanding that there's a tow eye under the floor mat on the passenger side? Wouldn't there likely still be one in a wrecked car? Maybe some calls to wrecking yards would yield an eye or two.
