sandsys
I saw this phrase yesterday and totally related to it. It defines those of us who rarely meet people face to face but maintain an active presence on the internet. What with email, blogs, and forums I stay in touch with many people I haven't seen in a long time--some of them never--without ever leaving home. As a confirmed introvert this ability makes me happy. Jaydrvr
Thank you, Linda. It's always seemed to be used in reference to a lady, but then I've never researched it... Haven't really heard it used in contemporary speech. Jay
