When I was 19, I fell in love for the third time, married and had a couple of children with her. As a disillusioned, discouraged divorced man of 38, I fell in love for the last time. RV_ Posted April 17, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2016 Holy moly! I dated Commodore Basic then and CPM and thought it was a long term relationship but then a DOS machine got me too. I kept Commodore around with Geos For Commodore and even put it on my PC with Geos for PC, the desktop before there was a Windows and ten years before. My DOS grew into a beautiful system and I dropped all the others too. So we've been together since 1984 but I decided to see DRDOS 5&6 But when DRDOS' dad was killed in a motorcycle crash she never got over it and stopped seeing anyone, so DOS aged into a beautiful 10 over time too. RV_ Posted April 18, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 18, 2016 Back when I was considering switching to Windows 7, having decided to wait a year or two I bought a Windows 7 system downgraded to XP. It came with Windows XP loaded on it, but the install/restore CDs that came with it were only for Windows 7. No big deal as then I just made images of both. Harder to do with Windows 8 on up.
