  1. If the worker did what you paid them to do it's not a scam and you have no case. The fact that the replacement didn't solve the problem isn't relevant.

    RV Caulk

Geocel Proflex is a great caulk and is used on new Keystones at the factory. I also use Lexel on occasion because it is readily available but Lexel doesn't hold up as well.
  3. Sounds like normal wiring, maybe you aren't understanding it correctly. Circuit breakers like that are often for slides and leveling systems/stabilizers.
  4. You are correct but it is irrelevant to what I said. All three have members and all three claim to operate for the benefit of those members. Only one really gives the members a say.
  5. Voting within the chapters may not be the perfect arrangement but doesn't that give the membership a larger voice than members of the Escapees or Good Sam?
  6. AGM batteries are lead acid batteries, the difference is the acid is absorbed into a fiberglass mat between the lead plates rather than liquid like in a flooded battery. They don't catch fire and using them is nearly the same as flooded except you don't add water to AGM batteries.
  7. Out of curiosity I tried to value my truck and you're right, the NADA site stinks. I wasn't able to indicate the long bed, the drw, or get the correct engine size. Even though I entered diesel it came up as the 6.0L Vortec engine which is a much lower value. On the other hand KBB allowed me to enter all the correct info.
  8. Never forward to general delivery unless you have personally walked into that post office and verified that they will accept and hold the mail for you. With that done, usps general delivery is okay.
  9. In the power center fuse panel you probably have a black 15a auto reset circuit breaker. Pull that circuit breaker and replace with a 15a fuse, now try it.
  10. "Cylinders Filled By Weight Following the visual exterior bottle inspection, the bottle filler will look for two other things prior to hooking up the fill hose with the cylinder on the scale. These two things are the water capacity and tare weight. The water capacity is how much water the propane bottle will hold in pounds. The "WC" stamped on the bottle followed by a number such as "47.6" means the bottle will hold 47.6 pounds of water. The tare weight (empty weight) indicated by a "TW" is also followed by a number such as "18" meaning the bottle weighs 18 pounds when empty. The numbers here would likely be found on a five gallon propane bottle (also known as a 20 pound cylinder) used for a barbeque grill. The bottle filling station will generally have a cylinder filling chart that converts water capacity (WC) to pounds of propane that the filler will refer to before filling the bottle. The chart will show that 47.6 pounds of water converts to 20 pounds of propane. In other words, a propane bottle that will hold 47.6 pounds of water will hold 20 pounds of propane. This indicates that the scale needs to be set a little over 38 pounds (20 lbs + 18 lbs = 38 lbs) to obtain the weight of the bottle when it reaches its allowable capacity." https://www.propane101.com/propanecylinderfilling.htm
  11. They hold 80% WC (water capacity) the typical BBQ size bottle is at 80% WC when it contains 20# of lpg. Yours is a common mistake.
  12. Bent pins wallow out the hole over time, I always use locking straight pins.
  13. Simple matter to change the settings so they aren't shown on the screen.
  14. There are three parks in the ERPU program. Rainbows End @ Livingston, TX Rainbow Plantation @ Summerdale, AL Sumter Oaks @ Bushnell, FL We are on the list at all three and hit #5 from the top in Livingston earlier this year.
  15. If I had an alarm from a LPG detector, I'd put a manometer on the system and test for a leak.
  16. Lights are wonderful when I need to see for some particular activity. Once that activity is completed, darkness is preferred. LED flashlights and headlamps are very useful.
  17. I bought this book, the latest edition was January 2019.
  18. I'm interested in opinions on the ERPU (Escapees Rainbow Parks Unlimited) memberships. We got on the list at all three parks last April after heading home for the pandemic duration. Surprisingly in only eight months we jumped from #30 to #5 at Rainbow's End in Livingston and are now on the "hot" list. The fast climb makes me wonder if something is going on at that location. Are the existing ERPU members jumping ship? At the two other locations we went from #39 to #27 and from #39 to #28. We like the concept of the ERPU membership, pay a fully refundable membership fee to have our own personal site that is there for us whenever we want it and is maintained by management when we are gone. It is similar to the co-op parks in operation although maybe better in some ways and worse in others. So for any ERPU members, what do you think? Are you happy? Would you do it again? Is there some downside I'm missing? What lead you to getting an ERPU membership? For anyone that says, "What the heck is an ERPU?" Here is a description found at https://www.rversonline.org/00ConfSKPs.html "Some Rainbow Parks have ERPU sites available. Sites can be leased for 5 years by an individual who then has exclusive rights to use that site in the park. There will be a monthly maintenance fee assessed to cover the cost of security and management. If a person wishes to withdraw before his 5 years are up, he can get his money back if there is someone willing to take his lot. After the 5 year period, withdrawal equals a full refund."
  19. I had a Dahon some years back, it was a good bike but not the same ride as a full size bike. Now that I can carry full size bikes the Dahon was sold. If you do buy a folder, get the biggest tires you can in order to have the best ride. I definitely wouldn't get smaller than 20". Bike Friday is a very well respected brand and is supposed to be as close as you can get to the ride of a full size bike.
  20. Spam in my opinion. They regularly post the same stuff in several Facebook groups. If nothing else it is sensationalism, they were evacuated due to nearby fires, not "kicked out".
  21. Hello and welcome, I hope things improve for you.
  22. What is the receiver weight rating? There are two ratings, one with wdh and one without.
  23. I use Smart View on my Samsung Tab A tablet and cast that to a Fire Stick. It works great. I tried various things previously and even bought a ChromeCast only to be disappointed in it not working. My tablet is wifi only, I download Netflix or Amazon Prime shows and then watch later on television with no internet connection. I absolutely love the simplicity and functionality.
