  1. The light at the end of the tunnel is glimmering brighter.😁
  2. Well it sounds very promising from here. Good luck.
  3. The service person got the spare tire on and we were able to move at 10mph for about a mile, and that is far as we got.
  4. Any new news on your truck?
  5. We have had Good Sam and never had to use it. So on our way home from Florida to Michigan, we had a blowout near Chattanooga and since it was 90+ degrees outside we decided to use the roadside service. After waiting over 2 hours for the service to arrive, I called the number the Good Sam person had sent me, and they told me they had a dispatch for a semi truck recovery and then it got cancelled an they couldn't help me. After more calls to Good Sam and getting nowhere, I changed it myself and went on. After several more calls to Good Sam and getting nothing but lip service and having to speak to a person out of country that I couldn't understand, they were out. I switched to Coach Net and last week lost a wheel bearing on our 5th wheel. It blew the tire out and ruined the wheel. One call to Coach Net and they had a person out that got the spare on and followed us to the Indiana Welcome center in Hammond Ind. The people at Coach Net worked with us to find a mobile repair man that was able to get us up and running in a reasonable time frame and we were on our way. Coach Net was only $20.00 more than GS, but showed how much better they were. We are so totally happy with there service. When you call them, you get a person from their office in Texas not some foreign country.
  6. True Value Hardware has so many things for most of the things to do.
  7. Well it is starting to sound like there is real hope there for you.
  8. We found that out this spring when a brake went out on us. We were in Tennessee and were in a spot. From the local distributor, a rotor, caliper and brake pad was $2400 and 2 weeks to get it. We got the parts on amazon in 2 days and it cost us $977.00.
  9. Nice Youtube channel, enjoyed it and will be watching for more travels.
  10. I believe I saw a Teflon plate screwed to the hitch plate on Suite Travels Comfort Ride hitch.
  11. We are glad to hear you all are safe.
  12. Chuck, did it say anything on the form about cancelation fee? It would seem that a $50 fee would not be surprising for this far out, but $600 is totally out of line, and I would be on the phone tomorrow morning with them about it.
  13. Chad, although I am absolutely electrically challenged, I enjoy reading and seeing what you put together for your systems and mounting it in and on your trailer.
  14. Go to TruckTrader.com and look up the 389 Peterbilt's, there's a bunch of them out there.
  15. Yes Chad you need to update your signature. I saw a shot of it on Suite Travels blog last night and as they would say in the hill country, it sure is a purty rig.😁
  16. Any pictures to post up so we the unfortunate can see what fun you all are having?
  17. We have a small computer type fan in the fridge and a 6in fan in the compartment blowing air up across the coils, and it helps a lot.
  18. You do not need to have it DOT inspected.
  19. I have used Castrol SAE 30 oil for years.
