Run, don't walk, to your nearest Cummins dealer and have them turn up that engine. The M-11 is a decent hunk of iron.

Easy ride. You should have no problems except for the usual Cincy traffic and the oftentimes congestion around Lexington. There's a decent climb going south on I-75 on the KY side just as you cross the Ohio River coming out of the city. If you've got power, don't get stuck in the far right climbing lane or you might get trapped by faster traffic. I'm sure @rickeieiowill be able to offer another perspective.

I hear 'ya loud and clear. The first day of reduced leg room can be managed...to a degree. The second, third and fourth days; not so easy. Aim high, my friend.

Ask the broker to provide the S/N of the unit to you. You can then call New Horizons directly and they will provide the build info to you, including any options that were installed at the factory.

Heck yeah, I do that stuff all the time with my F350. Of course, it's a modified Powerstroke and you may have a Detroit or Volvo so it's anyone's guess if you can do it. Seriously though, I think your only challenge would be getting enough traction.

Assuming you'll be coming out I-10 and then picking up SR71 towards Austin, there's also quite a lot to pick from in the Bastrop area which is about 30 miles east of Austin. These places are more budget friendly than the Fredericksburg area. A new place just opened in Kemah, off I-10...nice, but very close to 10. https://summerbreezeusa.com/ Whatever you do, don't make your trip at night. The construction activity along I-10, west of Houston goes on for a good 20-30 miles from Katy. There are multiple lane closures at night which make traffic horrendous.

How far do you want to be from downtown? Unfortunately, everything will be pretty much to the south and in-between Austin and San Antonio. Lots to choose from out in the Fredericksburg/Hill Country area.
