And honestly, in a crisis situation, I'm not shopping vets based on how many alphabet letters are behind their name. More likely I'm looking for one that even has exam room availability, as vets are very busy, and can shop their clients vs. clients shopping their vet.

If you're counting on having equipment worth passing down to future generations, Harbor Freight isn't the place to buy anything with a cord. Pull it apart, focusing on wire connections. A bad solder joint will only get worse with use, before getting bad enough to fail. Check out the trigger switch, if the solder joints all pass inspection. I've had a HF variable speed drill switch fail to all or none mode.

We came through on I-15 today, and road conditions were much better than this. That's a horrible thing to have happen. Hopefully the contents are recoverable, as the trailer looks pretty hurt. No blood equals a minor inconvenience in our travels, but the heartburn and heartache will make you suffer.

MIL stories always need a drink in hand. And several ready in standby mode.

Shouldn't we be wishing a Cranky Birthday? Don't want to upset Mr. COB.

In contact with Vern. He's crawling over the pallets of parts, looking for treasure. He reports many new parts, still in boxes, with part numbers. Even found a Volvo wire harness, but I don't have the part numbers for it. Anyone looking for truck parts or a project truck should be hitting the auction website.

New three way fridge for outdoor kitchen
Darryl&Rita replied to Curtis M's topic in Technical Tips and Tricks
How are you going to vent it? Every outdoor kitchen I've seen has a door over the front, and backs onto interior space. -
Posting this for Vern, as he's having some keyboard problems: https://www.gardnerauction.com/upcoming-auctions located in Kalispell, MT. He must be familiar with the sale yard, as their upcoming sale list doesn't have much detail.

To make allowance for driveway dips/rises, on your 96" trailer, I'd use 55". 102" trailer, use 60" clearance.

Prepare to totally underwhelmed by the metered difference, but blown away by the perceived difference. The product works, but it's hard to measure.

Derate points to emission equipment. -
Ray, you should also have a connector down by the ECM. Not as convenient for in action viewing, but good for checking Check Engine Lights.

Good price, very tempted. Also in AJ for the winter. KK7KBD -
Do you have the "Upfitter Package"? Factory switches on the dash? If you do, check your manual. There's a couple of higher amperage ones, with wire ends under the hood and under the dash.

South Dakota, PMBs and Bank Accounts, Oh My!
Darryl&Rita replied to Mark Noakes's topic in Sharing the Fulltime Lifestyle
And you don't have a PMB. You rent a suite from Escapees. A very small suite, but a suite. The bank software may still trip on the address, but don't hamstring yourself at the gate by calling it a PMB, a mail box, or box number. -
T-Mobile Phone Service via Starlink.....press release
Darryl&Rita replied to Vladimir's topic in Internet Access on the Road
Pick a news story. Ukraine, Middle East, any place that the local infrastructure is under stress, StarLink steps up as an alternative. Once entrenched as the defacto provider, service is provided at their whim. I don't need anything that they provide badly enough to fund their mischief. -
T-Mobile Phone Service via Starlink.....press release
Darryl&Rita replied to Vladimir's topic in Internet Access on the Road
Given Starlink's history of unilaterally killing service for their own reasons, I'll never depend on them for service. -
Tape from the inside. Let the sticky part hang out in the free air, supported by it's neighbors.

Almost any engine series with an ECM strapped to it. ISB, ISC, M11, N14 all come to mind.

Going to try. May car camp, or Ritz it up in a hotel room. KK7KBD
