I keep a Road box of Bare necessity tools, if need anything more is so hit and miss as to not be a good add as to displaced other materials.  On road parts can be slim but to carry readily available such as Air Governor or other contaminant sensitive components is not doing any good for the parts being tossed around and dirt exposed for long periods before needed use.  Lamp Bulbs/assemblies, fuses, circuit breakers or a few relays that can be readily swapped I do keep with a small multimeter and test lamp.  A few pigtails, nylon ties, a Sealed Wrapped fuel filter and is about it
