folivier
We may be putting our Roadtrek on consignment soon. But our insurance says they do not cover it while on a dealer's consignment lot. How have others done this? Kirk W
You bring up an interesting question as we are considering putting our travel trailer on one and that thought never crossed my mind. Have you asked the consignment lot management about that issue? Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... GlennWest
When we put our DRV on a consignment lot, PPL motorhomes, we kept the insurance we had on it. I had gotten the Teton and my insurance company had no problem with it. Just cancelled after sale Quote 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

bobsallyh
I would ask your insurance company since they would be the one involved. And another recommendation, you hold the title while on the lot. Tell them to call you if a sale is to take place. If they don't want to do business this way, don't walk away, run away. We got a low cost rider for the motorhome while sitting on the lot; not full insurance.
