t hobo
Any one have information about how the campgrounds are? Particularly the first come/first serve ones. I am mainly interested in the size of RV they will take and if they are reasonably level?
2gypsies
Here are a couple sites to explore. You didn't give your RV size and even some roads are restricted to size. The national park web sites give lots of good information on campgrounds, things to do, special alerts/construction, etc. http://www.parkcamper.com/SKC/Sequoia-Kings-Canyon-National-Park-Camping.htm https://www.nps.gov/seki/planyourvisit/vehicle-restrictions.htm Full-timed for 16 YearsTraveled 8 yr in a 2004 Newmar Dutch Star 40' Motorhome and 8 yr in a 33' Travel Supreme 5th Wheel
Kirk W
Welcome to the forums, Jerry! It has been several years since we were last in any of those campgrounds but when we were they sites for really large RVs were very limited and the current park website indicates that some of the roads to them are restricted to vehicles under 22' in length. Twotoes
My brother worked there several years ago. I always stayed outside the park and drove my toad in.
