SuperDan
Anyone figured out how to have a motorcycle enclosed on the back of a Volvo 780 yet? I'd like an enduro to go fishing or get me home when I'm like 200 miles away. Thanks in advance. lappir
Here are a couple of photos of my Motorcycle garage. They don't show a lot and I'm sure I have better ones. Finding them proves more difficult each time I try. Go figure. Let me know if you have questions. The opposing side doors are great. Would never do another rollup door. Not sure who built or what it was designed to do . I found it from another forum member. rpsinc
I have seen 2 different items used for DROMS/storage on back of big trucks. 1- shorter box truck boxes, sometimes found used and left alone or modified to suit. 2- small trailers without the axles and tires. Often have drop down gate or barn doors, your choice. Can also source these used. Remove the axles/tires and sell then mount the box to the bed. Seems would be a cheaper option to $8500 for a new purpose built drom box. Depends on what the need is. Quote Marcel
phoenix2013
Twin motorcycle garage Hers is hoisted first straight in, then rolled on the carries to the front and secured. Then his straight in and secured. Motorcycles are driven onto hoist carriers and secured to the carrier, then the hoist picks up the carrier with motorcycle. Four point cable hoist with a hoisting frame on the winch. Edited September 20, 2020 by phoenix2013
dlcarsonak
I e-mailed Morgan truck body. A sales person got back to me that day. They make all sizes. Mine is 102 W x94 H x 126 L. I got a side door. They added extra rafters because I said I was mounting solar panel on top. Around $8000 mounted on my frame. I found that they have a location in Blythe, CA not far from Quartzsite. FYI. Have seen many Lowes delivery trucks being outfitted there. dlcarsonak
rpsinc, they have several factory's around the USA. I liked the fact that they meet the DOT and Federal Highway Safety standards. The mounting is included in price.
