cadonnelly
In preparation to pick up my trailer I looked at the resource guide and since I cannot change to disc brakes, it looks like the Tekonsha P3 looked to be the electronic brake controller of choice. I ordered one from Amazon. Today I came across a brand new Kelsey Air that I had ordered years ago. So I can use either one, any thoughts as to which one I should use? I can return the Tekonsha to Amazon, the Kelsey I can sell on craigslist or ? Thanks Chuck

Alie&Jim's Carrilite
The latest is the Direct Link http://www.direclink.com/ they work with most trucks, including your old one. Your old truck now has a Hayes controller that works off of the applied air pressure. The current one works great, a previous Hayes unit let the magic smoke out. https://www.amazon.com/Hayes-100400C-Air-Actuated-Controller/dp/B01ENS3A0G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489973604&sr=8-1&keywords=hayes+air+brake+controller Jim's Adventures Old Spacecraft.... cadonnelly
That Direct Link looks excellent. Did not realize I had a Hayes on the first one. Probably should get in touch with the direct link folks, and see how much I might be set back, and I can always return my P3 to Amazon. Thanks

I think your original Tekonsha was in the truck still when I bought it but it had lost its mojo as well. The Hayes works well and many use it now since the MaxBrake is no longer available.
