Parrformance
My name is Michael, my wife Licia and I have plunged into the HDT adventure together. We have purchased a 2006 VNL 780, D12 with Ultrashift. We are very excited to get her ready for the maiden voyage for some R&R in June. We would like some advice regarding a water leak into the sleeper on the passenger side of the truck. I am wondering if it is coming in along the roof seams on the upper fairing. It then seems to follow a path and come in above the upper passenger side bunk window. The only place I can see that is a possibility above the windows are these seams, thoughts? We have had a dry winter here in Florida, so I have not had any opportunity to diagnose it further. 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee

Chad Heiser
Congratulations on the purchase. I don't own a Volvo, so I can't point you to any possible starting points to find the leak, but I wanted to welcome you to the group. 2009 Volvo 670 with dinette/workstation sleeper - Walter 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage) My First Solar Install Thread My Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the build My MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website
Black
I've chased down leaks on other vehicles and having one person work the hose and the other inside checking for leaks is the best way I've found. Can Licia or you safely get high enough to put water on the suspected leak points and see which one is the culprit?
Parrformance
Found the leak alibg the seams along the roof where the center section meets the sides. Caulked them after cleaning out the badly fatigued original caulk.. Nice and dry now:) 2006 Volvo VNL 780, " Arvey" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2010 Forest River Coachman Freedom Express 280RLS Jackalopee
