You Guys Rock!

With our first rally behind us, DW and I wanted to take a moment to share our experience. First and foremost, this is a group of incredible individuals. Intelligence, expertise and ingenuity at levels that we've never encountered. Seriously, you guys are just ridiculously smart and equally handy.

 

But much more than that was the palpable sense of authentic community that was everywhere. For those of us knee-deep in corporate America, urban greed and discourtesy can unfortunately become the norm. From the minute we pulled into the fairgrounds, people went out of their way to welcome us and offer valuable guidance on all aspects of full-timing and purchasing a rig. We drove Volvos, had multiple private tours of amazing fivers and made connections we hope will last a lifetime. It was a truly amazing experience that only reinforced our decision to leave the 9-5 life as soon as possible. Our sincere thanks to the group for your friendship and encouragement. We can only hope to be as supportive to future "newbies" as you've been to us.
