All these are on the Volvo site but you'd need to download one at a time.

Files are large and might take awhile to download. Also may not be available in the future as I may need to free up space on my cloud drive.

Link to Volvo CD for Gen II 2004 thru 2005 but may be helpful to newer model years.

I was concerned about this also before posting and also checked this previously.

I find no mention of copyright in any of the disclaimers/fine print. Of course this doesn't necessarily mean it is not but on the start page the only "mark" is a "circled R" (registered trade mark) preceding the line "Volvo Trucks Corporation 2005".

I find no Circled C anywhere. This is curious for a large corporation to include one (circled R) and not the other (circled C) and no mention of "copyright".

So the answer is ????.

You have more experience with this than I. What would be you opinion?

Well my Gen I Volvo document CD did have a copyright. I have them on a website but hidden.

The schematic books I bought did not. That is why the schematic scans are on my website.

So if you see no copyright, then the Gen II documents will probably wind up on the Resource Guide.

Even though we are small potatoes in the Internet, I like to be safe.

Checked one last time and find no mention of copyright, permission, distribution, unauthorized, etc. anywhere.

The "setup" file should bring up a splash page for navigation but I found on newer computers it my hang. Entering directly thru the subdirectories and opening the PDF that contains TOC in the name allows normal navigation.

Volvo doesn't make finding things easy but if one browses around it has a lot of useful info

I had the same problem with the Gen I documents. I changed the TOC page so it works without the program. I got everything downloaded. Now the fixing starts.

This is great find for Volvo engine owners for there own work. If they are not near a Volvo shop or choose to have an independent shop perform the work.

I did search for a few things and found some interesting documents.

Just hope we can keep them available to the forum members.

Safe Travels, Vern

Right you are. I don't have a Volvo engine so didn't thoroughly look thru this manual.

This has been removed for now. Will try to contact Volvo NA and try for permission.

Thanks for doing this Mark. Didn't mean to cause more work but thought all could benefit.

Now looks like the Operators Engine does have a copyright notice so I removed it from my link/cloud (at least for now)

There really is a D12; I have one!!. That said, I have no idea what changed from D11 to D12. And frankly, I hope I never have to find out.

I would like to thank both you and Mark for doing this. Over time, it will make repairs much easier to undertake. Thanks again.

Paul
