Steve, You wouldn't have to go very far west to be out of the worst part of the storm area. Then you could come back so Carol could shoot the wedding. It might save Bessy Bus from looking like it had chicken pox from all the large hail or even worse it might save it from looking worse than my old Ford did after the wreck. I don't stay very long in Tornado Alley even when it is not Tornado Season. And if you let the Ice Cream Machine get damaged I'll be mad as a hornet.

 

I was going to go over to the Young Man's house that is going to help me construct the tunnel for my ladder and sort and rearrange the stuff I have in the pickup bed. He has to mow the Churches lawn today so that is out. I spent most of the morning hunting for the license plates from my old truck. I knew they were in that mess somewhere. I finally found them in the very last box I inspected laying flat on the bottom of the box with junk piled on top of them. If I don't get the ladder box made and get that stuff organized before I go to my niece's this coming Thursday I'll have to come back here before I head back West. When I do head West you better bet I'm going to Fly across Tornado Alley. I'll keep on eye on the SW watching for storms and the other on the road. I need a couple extra eyes.

 

Sure glad that you two got past the last series of storms without being hurt or suffering damages.

Heck, Steve, that wedding is two weeks away. Go somewhere else then come back for it. Maybe the Texas Gulf in the meantime?

Greetings, all! It's good to be in the beautiful Colorado mountains again, and so nice to be here "next door" to Delcie and Freddy! Looking forward to the visits with them, plus our son, daughter-in-law, and two little grandsons across the reservoir about nine miles by car. Tom hasn't been fishing yet, but has a date tomorrow with grandson, Logan,turning seven!

 

Enjoyed our time in Albuquerque parked next door to Sandie and Jim for a couple of days, and with Nancy and Dave, also. We all had dinner together one night... fun to be together!

Just came back for my doctor's office where he gave me a physical. I have to do the lab work tomorrow morning but what he looked at today was all OK. That suits me just fine. I hope I get the results back from the lab work before I have to head for Columbia to see my Niece and GG Niece. I'll have to come back here anyway to do the work on the new truck so I can find things again. But right now a Steveeeexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is in order.

Have had a great time visiting with our daughters and friends these past weeks. Had to put our youngest on the Amtrak yesterday and I nearly ended up going back to Denver with her. Was helping with getting her bags on board when the train started to take off. Barely made it off board when it started moving. I've never rode a train so, didn't realize that they mean business with keeping on schedule. Probably would've thrown me off like a hobo at next stop in Ottumwa!

Getting check ups and my doc was amazed that I've lost 32 lbs since embarking full time. Cholesterol and other levels nearly cut in half...apparently, this full time thing is healthy for ya!

Now it's time to work on getting rid of that storage unit. Auctioneer won't take our new mattress. Will see if Disabled Vets Org. wants it. Anybody want a queen size for their rig?!

If any of you have one of those hoodies from Los Algodoneses, you know the ones with kokopellis on the back and "Los Algodoneses" down the arm, DON'T wash them with other clothes. They are not color-fast!!!! Delcie gave me one, a nice wine colored one. I was about to wash it with a load of our uniforms and thought, hmmmm! Mexican-made, I wonder. Well five washes in the sink and the water is still the color of red wine. My hands are stained too. Man oh man, the boss would have been furious.

Glad you averted the disaster. I've been told if you wash it with vinegar in the water it will stop bleeding. Might want to try that.

WOW!!! 32lbs!!! thats great. And just think that if that train would have taken off with you on board and they would have tossed you off down the tracks,, you would have had to walk home and maybe would have lost another lb or two!!

Washing? What's that? I'd have washed it with the rest of my clothes. Then I wouldn't have to worry about my clothes not matching. It beats purple slacks with a yellow shirt and orange socks.

 

I got the tunnel for my ladder built in the bed of the truck today. The fellow that was going to help me was in church all morning. I had it almost done by the time he got here. When he did arrive I had him load all the stuff back in the truk while I rested. Now I'm pooped.

Roger -- You lost 32 pounds without even trying and while RVing? When we started RVing I gained it. Now I'm dieting and trying to lose it ... again. Too many meals out took it's toll.

I think I copied the HTML code to my signiture line,,, don't really remember. I'm afraid half of the stuff I do with computers ends up being trial and error and when it works I forget what I did!!! LOL!! Not a good way to be in todays age I'm afraid.

Well the time has come to head south to hot weather. I'll be pulling out in the morning for Irmo, SC near where my GG Niece lives. I have to come back here though. I still don't have my credit card from the bank. They have called the main office about 6 times and still no card. If it isn't here when I get back I'll just change banks and I don't think they will like that. Now to get all the chores done tonight so I don't have to do them in the morning.

We moved again today,,, we left Memphis and are now Trace State Park not far from Tupelo Mississippi. We will be here at least until Saturday. It's pretty nice so we may extend.
