  1. Copied these to her Email, maybe might listen!!
  2. LOL, was first Thought!! Showed her a few others, explained need to VET the places wish to stay and get Reservations EARLY. She is still thinking.
  3. All considered decided to show the Wife the HDT Parks map, she was less than impressed as we satellite imaged some of them. Was upset as looked as just large store parking lots, not very attractive. Explained or at least attempted to that these do not reflect as to typical where the ones looked at were Desert S and SW where few to NO trees. BAD Choice for initial displays on my part. With the hauler will use are likely to end with a 32-36' Toy Hauler, NOT looking to have a massive 38-45' RV as is only the two of us, really do not have designs for others to accompany us. Should fit most of the parks I have read up on with Pull Thru or even with Back in slots. She is not being very receptive at this point. Any suggestions? Dave
  4. Look at commercial equipment suppliers, Air Compressors are generally Insulator mounted, McMaster Carr carries a few typical styles. I have several have bought over the years as spares. Usually Two hole Steel plate with rubber single hole center, varied bolt sizes. vibration isolators | McMaster-Carr
  5. Sweet rig, Hope to make it as long.
  6. Glad you found Simple to Fix, and not expensive. Dave
  7. Oh man does this strike Home, at 66 myself, aged Hard from years as a wrench and a power station operator. Concrete floors and grating are tough on anyone. Knees no longer like me, shoulders either, have Cubital Tunnel(Elbow region) and find nearly anything I feel the need to fix hurts me worse, yet STILL crawl under. Dave
  8. Hate to suggest, yet a good welder can likely construct a reliable strong and visually appealing aluminum structure bed at a price. Even when use my F250 to drag a Goose, I wish had spent the money for a Shallow side aluminum bed.
  9. Still looking, been digging around, not so happy as what is coming up for sale. Sad.
  10. Thanks Rod, being as still like to Ride, will be hauling the Harley to Points Out, spend a few days day tripping on that, back to trailer nightly and then return home at end of visit. As age figure to move from current digs, establish a HUGE Carport to sit this under, still use it on occasion for trips where will build a Shouse to use trailer as a base of operations to build. Most Likely Snake loaded TX. Dave
  11. Thanks Next available is a 2013 Raptor 367, also Toy Hauler. Is a little more than want to spend.
  12. Toy haulers, anything to watch for? Know have been OOB a few years now. Dave
  13. Most all of the plumbing to/from these should be Nylon Tube.
  14. Both descriptions are correct, some were actually INSIDE cabs with a exhaust line to outside(Primarily IHC Products). Is classified as a TP-3 by Haldex, buy NEW.
  15. Tractor Protection Valve is failed. Cylindrical usually attachment point of the air lines to the chassis. Should look similar to this.

Hate to say I am REALLY Old school, Still Check at least every few days, inflated pressure with a Bayonet style Gauge. Never found that too involved. Not that I would ever state DO NOT TRUST Modern Electronics🙃
  18. Many MANY Moon ago I drove the ALCAN with a Buddy of mine, 75 Ford F250 Crew, 4x4 with overhead slide in and a tag on platform off the back bumper. Grill Guard just over hood 6-8", extra light bulbs for headlamps and four foglamps, five spare tires and two 30 gallon barrels attached to the back platform for extra gas. 351W, 4spd. Used ALL five spares and two bought on road on way up, two u-joints, ALL the head and fog lamp bulbs got swapped, had a new windshield installed in Fairbanks. That was when the 'Highway' really wasn't but was a LARGE Size gravel road. He sold the truck Up There!! We flew Home. The Alcan IS way better than then, yet it is a pavement on frost heave ground, with temperamental permafrost under it. We never got over 30mph, last friends to run the road never averaged over 45.
  19. Calibrated Mekanik hammers are HIGH dollar!! BTW Thanks
  20. Final labeling Under Door: "PRIVATE CONVEYANCE NOT FOR HIRE"
  21. Yesterday sign shop called, I am now legal for use, are making the PRIVATE CONVEYANCE and NOT FOR HIRE Currently which should be ready today. These I got in place. Kept Weight classification so May use as a real truck. In MO cannot license RV unless change title to RV where then cannot be used for anything BUT RV. Weight tag above 24,000 requires the labeling as see. VIN is a Federal Requirement for heavier weight licensed. Installed myself, used to do that at various shops as a Mechanic.
  22. I would go Weller or check with closest PACCAR dealer on reman, the pricing is usually really close and does not require shipping.
  23. Had to laugh really hard at that previous comment, KNOW certain individuals that take it as a challenge as to "Can you be more ignorant or stupid?" Dave
  24. I have since stopped my practice of supporting SnapOn and MAC or Matco. HF and Northern Tool products are quite reasonable, seemingly better warranties, defined decent tooling. That stated, have invested in 6 and 12 point sockets of same sizes, M and Std, Chrome and Impact as Chrome eats impact anvils where do tend to explode, Impact sockets do not perform well as does a thinwall Chrome in tight spots. I know is difficult to store however neither are a good replacement for the other, Six points do not function on 12 point space saver head fasteners and 12 points do tend to strip off corners of serious worn or corroded six flats fasteners.
  25. I can no longer work without Expletives and throwing Something at some point!!!
