  1. Put your watt meter on the microwave next time you use it... might be surprised how many watts a “850” watt MW actually uses.
  2. You may need to “expand” you box of where the water is possibly coming from. Doors, windows, vents, and anti-suction devices. Outside storage access doors at the belt line hinge area. Did you get some rain and/snow lately? Have you done any maintenance or made any resent changes to the coach or you everyday routine?
  3. Click For Full-Size Image. This little heater worked well for our two weeks below -20f and kept the compartment a toasty +40f.
  4. You can use 2 Victrons in a “split phase” configuration to get 240. And you would need to add in multiples of (2) if you needed to parallel inverters to get more available power. I think want is missing is if using a 48vdc battery bank you are shut out from using a Multi because they are not available in a 48vdc version. I like the idea of using a dedicated 48vdc inverter just to power the 240 mini split and a 48 vdc 120vac to power everything else.
  5. Glenn please go to the Victron Website and read all about the great things the various inverter /chargers can do. Many options to run parallel, split phase, and even 3 phase if needed. You need to really do your research and make the best decision for your needs and planned setup. You may be a bit limited in your selections based on your plan to go 48vdc. Here is one option that may work for you. https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Datasheet-Quattro-3-10kVA-120V-EN.pdf
  6. Another choice and you can check your tank levels anywhere.......tank level
  7. Really shouldn’t make “blanket” statements about every state. Didn’t you mention your wife spent some time living in California? I guess she never registered a vehicle at the DMV!
  8. Hey Suite did this tire position suffer from your earlier disc brake failure?
  9. Did you check to see if maybe your getting low on propane?
  10. A fuse or circuit breaker... please post a link to a resettable “fuse”!
  11. Is there such a thing as a “resettable” fuse in a RV?
  12. It only has a 20 amp breaker? Is it electric or hydraulic? Can you put an “amp meter“ on the wire coming from the breaker and get an amp reading while operating the slide?
  13. Measure your “backside” and verify that seat cushion is wide enough. It appears to have a slight bolster on each side.
  14. Your circuit breaker may be worn out or undersized....replace it.
  15. You really need to put your butt in the different seats to see how they fit! This is one of those things you need to do in person! and so should the co-pilot!
  16. So what did you end up doing? Extended or retracted? How did it turn out? Results may be helpful to someone else in the same bind.
  17. I replaced my Norcold 811 a few years ago. Best mod ever. I added a 1000 watt inverter to run it while traveling and boondocking. Uses about 3 amps starting and less than an amp while running. Found out while traveling if you keep the door closed it doesn’t drop much in temperature driving for 8 hours. I used a Frigidaire Fftr1222QM as the replacement. That model has been superseded with this model FFET1222UV. Check the dimensions and see if it will fit your cabinet opening and that you can get it through your coaches doorway.
  18. Couldn’t you just verify the operation on one of the other slide toppers on your RV?
  19. Why do you need this panel? It seems to me most of the functions of this over priced attachment point can be replicated in a less expensive manner and with the option of greater flexibility. Do you have enough space to accommodate it?
