I drilled and tapped two holes in the front wall of my ET because I wanted it more secure than the “wide load” magnets I have. I used off the shelf bracket steel from the farm store to make the riser. I adjusted the height to clear the front of the trailer if 90 degree jackknifed.
Thanks for the insight, Rob!
We aren’t full timers (and don’t plan to be) but want a coach that will survive some planned extended trips in the future.
Spending DRV or New Horizon money for non-full time use is not realistic.
Who has one? Considering a Grand Design Momentum.
I know it's not a New Horizon or DRV level quality, but how has everyone done with these? Tell me the good and bad...
We are contemplating a new trailer and I really would like a diesel generator this time around. The Cummins/Onan units are very quiet and long lasting (when taken care of) from what I hear.
Does anyone on the forum actually have one of these? Am I correct that is has a little Kubota engine in it (which is a big plus in my book)? What are your overall thoughts on these?
Thanks.
I've tried to add this one before but am having trouble doing it.

They have several long (100' +) pull through 50 amp sites and several (just as long) back in sites with 30 amp hookups. Electric and water at the sites but a separate dump station.
We have gone here with our UTV, its directly on the trails. But it isn't noisy with hot rods or anything like that. I nice place to stay.
A great time was had by all, I think! Lack of WiFi definitely put a damper on online activities.
Heres a couple of photos I took.
Made it home already back to work tomorrow. 1750 miles. 100 less than the typical ECR trip...
Has anyone put Crossfire pressure hoses on their duals while keeping the nice chrome hub covers?
If so, how did you do it? Photos please...
(Please, no hitch arguments)
That’s how we do it too. I have several labeled totes in the basement, items like “sewer hose gear”, “electrical cables”, “water hose gear”, “tools”, etc. They all can be kept organized and separated.
I’m not afraid of spending a little money for a quality product, but $115 plus tax and shipping for a 50’ hose, sight unseen, is definitely a leap of faith...
