I have another cash buyer question. Now I’m the seller, the buyer wants to buy, based on FaceTime visits only. The RV is in SE Texas, the buyer is in Oregon. The finance transfer will not be the problem, but how can the title transfer take place, mail ? They want to store the MH (in their Name) in SE Texas till mid November.

You can’t make someone considerate of others if they were raised to be inconsiderate of others they’re gonna be that way.

I’m putting the $ in a escrow account with a lawyer who will see that the title is cleared & issued in my name. Gary, bought our Van from Camping World, then had some warranty work done at a different dealer. When we went to pick it up the repair dealer said we had to pay because the sale had not been registered, Winnebago still owned the vehicle....I should have walked but I had paid cash for it. I’m gonna be careful !

I’m certain this has been asked & answered, but I don’t find it. I want to purchase a RV from a private party. The unit has a lien on it, & I’ll be paying cash. How should the lien clearance be handled so I get a clear title ? I'm in Texas, the RV is registered in Texas, and will be registered in Texas.

$25 a month, unlimited everything, I’ve used more that 200gb streaming YouTube TV, not a problem.

Is RF or IR a choice, or different remote?

I’ve used YouTube TV for a few months, replacing my Dish account, on a Roku stick. I am usually using a Visible phone as a hotspot. Last month we streamed 136GB. My only complaints are the remote control really sucks, sometimes it acts on a button push, sometimes it won’t. I also get buffering a couple times a day. This happens whether I’m connected to Visible, or a hard line DSL. I suspect it’s YouTube, not the Roku or internet as it doesn’t seem to happen on other Roku channels or apps or what ever you call them. Most hated is the Remote.

Gary, I’m sure you’ve looked into Visible ? I have one of their phones now trying it out. The data speeds have been just ok, until yesterday. I was getting 60mbs on my Verizon phone & less that 5 on Visible. Spent 1.5 hrs chatting with them & got a ticket opened. Neighbor is getting 15 down on Visible.

I tried signing up for Visible yesterday and it wouldn’t take my SKP address, I suspect it’s the 77399 zip code cause it keeps suggesting 77351. If you use Visible, with a SKP address, how did you do it ?

Just finished my one weekly trip picking up groceries and the mail, afterwards I made a circuit of the Park. I don’t remember the last time it was so full. It’s sad that you can’t be made to feel as welcome as normal, but in these times a wave is the best we can do for a greeting & a welcome .👋🏻👋🏻

Actually, the Texas travel restrictions address only those flying in from NY or NO. When I had to go to NO for business I would always drive, it was easier and quicker than flying. I imagine that all of the Katrina residents Houston picked up flew in....yah on I10 airline !

The price of the ferry helps keep the traffic down. It’s been to many years since I made the trip to have any useful information but 10 yrs ago you could boondock about any where you wanted. The provincial parks we nice, not much in the way of amenities though. Slum camp "RV Parks" were nonexistent.

We used to do 6-8 months in our Sprinters. The thing with a B is, you live more outside, & travel more. Now if you get stuck, as we once did in Homer, waiting in the rain for 10 days on your mail....better REALLY like each other. Now we travel in a Travato only for 2-3 months before we have medical appointments.

I’m on day 3 of my 14da free trial and I’m pleasantly surprised. I have a Mobley account so the data use isn’t a lot of concern but I try to minimize it. I use a Roku stick in my TV as a receiving unit, with video quality set to 720 to minimize use, data consumption is still ~.5 gb hr.. The system, at that resolution seems to work fine down to 5MPS. For $50 I get unlimited DVR & local channels, in addition to a lot of other "stuff". The locals can be set manually, or automatically using your internet location. We (I) got tired of moving sat equipment, then dinking around with CS to get the locals changed. I’ve gotta say that, so far, I’m impressed with the product. Just a user, no ties to the company, other than Google, who know everything anyway.
