  1. Interesting. I don’t agree with Kirk, I believe if someone sees the thread and has a positive response, they would claim the credit.
  2. I know that many of us use various APPs for finding facilities. We look at ratings, comments, locations, inclusions, prices (if applicable) and what ever else. We use AllStays, Gas Buddy, Free RV parking, RV Park Reviews and many others. My question is how many actually contribute their knowledge to improve or maintain these valuable resources ?
  3. The zipper technique works very well, if everyone uses it. The problem comes when some "merge" at the first lane closed sign, and others try to follow the technique. Kind of like roundabouts, they work well all over the world, but it’s like taking your life in your hands to enter one in the US.
  4. Thanks all, guess this is a RTFA problem for me, instead of a RTFQ.
  5. As I said, I live in Livingston, Polk Co. Texas, I just don’t want to do a 900mi detour to go there to get Texas plates if I can get them in another county.
  6. Bet that subject line has been on here a bunch of times ! Butttt, I’m buying a new car & MH in Iowa. Since I live in Livingston, I want to register & title in Texas, but I don’t want to drop all the way back down there to do the deed. I was gonna head west from here so I thought that I might go thru the panhandle to register if I could. Can you register outside of your home county ?
  7. Does anyone here have experience with the Winegard Connect 2 ? Could I use the SIM from the Mobley in it ?

    Tinker Week?

Cut the off then soften the end with a gas match.
  9. A little bit of an error in the first para, but this is a pretty good indicator of why used 'B's are difficult to locate? https://www.rvbusiness.com/blog/winnebago-leads-upsurge-in-class-b-coach-sales.html
  10. The computers must believe I have a gambling addiction with all of the casino clubs I belong to. 😃
  11. Thanks for the info ! I'll be coming across to 35 from Sherman.
  12. Has anyone here stayed at the RV parking area at the S. side of the outlet mall N. of Gainesville, TX recently? We’ll be going that way soon & really need power for an overnight, otherwise it would be the nearby Cracker Barrel. It no longer shows as an item on Allstays.
  13. So, golfers need helmets ? I’m with Kirk, and not even a part time moderator, or agitator. Who pays for the injuries caused by their ________?
  14. I bought one of these after an incident. Zap Stick
  15. My younger Brother is doing a van conversation, instead of BB he went with Renogy. Got a great price on them $1K for 170 AH (?). He has Brent trying to contact them for some setup information for a few weeks. They don’t respond to the customer service emails, the woman who answers the phone hasn’t a clue...but will have someone call back, that hasn’t happened - yet. Great price, but I don’t know how good the deal was.
  16. I have dash cams in all of my vehicles, wouldn’t drive without one, esp in Houston. But...."Mobileye" is more than a dash cam. Several manufacturers are now offering them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobileye
  17. I wonder if that 170AH is usable or full rated capacity. BB 100AH gives you 100AH usable. I had 4 BB in my C, that I had in my Foretravel, Love this new technology!
  18. I gave up dinking around with this on the prepaid plan dropping tower & WiFi connections at different times.
  19. Got my 8800, on the prepaid yesterday. It is much slower than my phone on the same tower, often half the speed, or less. It also randomly drops the tower connection, with the WiFi remaining connected. At other times the WiFi signal disconnects. The tower I’m on, at Rainbows End cannot be crowded. Anyone else ?
  20. I pour in some vinegar & let it sit awhile, then continue to use it periodically as a preventative measure.
  21. I NEVER use PMB # on my address, it’s either #, or Apt #.
  22. I’d make sure the insurance was in effect first thing. Then I’d take a small SS cable and thread it thru the wheels (one will do) and around the axle. You’ll at least have the box, and satisfaction the you ruined their day.
  23. I’d not even mount the Victron meter, wish I hadn’t. I VERY seldom look at the meter, with the bluetooth you don’t need the meter. It’s also easy to take it with you to your next rig.
