  1. I just looked at the rvwaterfilterstore.com and they still had hoses for sale. I didn't see anything about their not making them.
  2. I don't think I would even consider the laundromat if I saw anything like that happening.
  3. You can pretty much sign up until the first day or close to it. If they run out of serviced sites you will need to boondock. I find the education from the seminars great. A few years ago I really lucked out. I had wanted to create a blog and tried on my own but struggled. Geeks on Tour offered a pre-Escapade course on Blogging and then had seminars throughout Escapade. I left Escapade full of confidence the I could create my own blog simply. We learn so much from each other and the evening entertainment is good.
  4. Everything always works out. Sometimes a bit lumpy but things will smooth out. You will learn so much more by having some experience in Rving when you go to Boot Camp. Since you are from Oregon I will assume you know how to drive down grades. I wouldn't expect you to smell brakes. You might have them check out just to be sure all is OK.
  5. A lot of people recommend Co-Pilot. I have tried it and find it difficult to use. There is supposedly an RV setting but I never could find it. I also didn't like the display.
  6. If you are talking Morryde IS Suspension, yes, well worth it.
  7. I don't recall ever encountering problems like that and have been using commercial laundries for 20 years when needed but we mostly use campground laundries. Some look a little beat up and old but the machines function fine. As Linda says, use Yelp or Google and there are reviews.
  8. We just got them installed and backed into our site with no rubbing. All appears good.
  9. Thanks for the speedometer info. Probably not enough of difference to worry about. The tire guy checked and said we had plenty of clearance in the rears. Won't be for a few years yet. We were planning to wait for the fronts until next spring but he had them in stock, fresh date so we decided to take advantage while we were here.
  10. That's kind of what I thought, no big deal. Peace of mind.
  11. WE have a Winnebago F53. Original size 235/80. This of course is a Michelin only size. GRRRRR.... so most people switch to the 245/75, a more standard size. We have been weighed and the 245 would work but I feel a lot more comfortable with the 265 and its weight capacity. Just wanted to check with those in the know if thee was something inherently wrong with doing this.
  12. Just came back from Alaska and needed new fronts. Original size is 235/80 22.5. I want to put on 265/75 22.5. Plenty of space. Any problems with doing this?
  13. We use our cash back cards as much as possible and pay off each month. We are full believers in the cashless society, so much easier from our view point and gives us good tracking of expenditures plus some protection. I really only carry the one card with me, have another, luckily a Master Card, we use if needed but I was only going to the supermarket!!!! Debit card is only used when we need cash once or twice a year from the ATM. Kept locked up. Happy the rest of the Kroger stores still accept Visa.
  14. Did you look in the Days End Directory? Good resource.
  15. Be aware that Smith's does not accept Visa Credit Cards any longer. I don't know if that implies that all Kroger Supermarkets do not accept Visa CC. Smith does accept Visa Debit, just not CC. I had to leave my shopping cart behind as I did not have any other card with me at the time. The cashier did not know why.
  16. Ask an rv dealer for a recommendation.
  17. That just muddied the waters some more. Both our Visa and MC are charge cards, not debit cards. We were lucky we had an MC card since we didn't have our check book with us.
  18. We have been to three Costco's, Fairbanks, Anchorage and Prince George. None accept a Visa card.
  19. x2 about redoing. I never looked under blog, to me a blog means just chit-chat, longer version of the forum. Most blogs I have read document someone's travels or something like that. Why would articles be posted under a businesses blog?
  20. "Costco only takes their card or MC, no visa. That may have been correct a year ago when Costco's Card was an AMEX. Costco's card is now a Visa, and they accept any Visa card, but not MC." That is interesting, must vary by Costco. I have not been able to use my regular Visa card at any Costco I have been to, only my Sam's Club MC card. This was within the last month.
