  1. We have "agreed value" insurance. Essentially it is a life insurance policy for the RV. No questions asked. I would go through your RV and video everything, put it in a safe place not in the RV along with all the invoices for everything bought. Don't forget the basement.
  2. x2 also that you pay by the 6 months. My experience is that full time insurance is a yearly bill. Contact one of these for a second opinion. FCIS 800-331-1520 Miller Insurance 800-622-6347
  3. I would imagine they didn't either. The point is you can't tell by just looking on the exterior.
  4. I just picked this up on Brake Buddy. http://www.brakebuddy.com/towing-laws.html
  5. I believe it is required by state law, there may be 1 or 2 states that don't require brakes but that would be pretty limiting to your travel.
  6. This is great!!! Cursor, the bar and the hand are all a new color............. Thanks Joel
  7. We had ours weighed at Livingston a few years ago. We needed to make an appt.
  8. Sams has Scan and Go. It is part of their app on the phone, works great. I tried the Kroger scan system and really didn't like having to juggle the unit and the cell. On the phone is the way to go. You need to have your bank app on your phone, assume that is what he meant by intermingled. Only way to deposit checks unless you want to scan and email them in.
  9. Our cards send us an email within seconds of the charge. I generally have the email within feet of the register.
  10. We did this in our house. Try an electrical supply store.
  11. I have always been curious as to how much we all save between our cash back cards, senior discounts, campground discounts and whatever else. Must be in the thousands.
  12. We stopped for gas today at Camp Verde, also needed the supermarket so we drove into town. By I17 price for gas was $3.99, in town $2.84. I don't recall ever seeing such a large differential before.
  13. I would like to see the laundromats just take our credit card at each machine. Needing to get a new card at each laundromat would be a bummer. So many times I have had to add .25 for an additional 8 minutes. Having to go back and add that to a card so I can extend the time would be an aggravation. This might be a good idea if you use the same laundry each week but when traveling this would be just an additional step.
  14. How do you get cash? With your credit card!!!! I have read where some city(Philly???) passed a law that all businesses must take cash. So many were going cashless. I can see the benefits of going cashless for a business: no fears of robbery, no trips to the bank, no counting of money, no skimming by employees, not having to cash on hand for change etc. Pretty much the only place we use cash now is the laundromat and one day the machines will take our credit cards. I have heard rumors of a few but never found one yet. Just lots of quarters. If you use cash you can't buy online.
  15. I have an app that I use. I have no idea why the carriers keep displaying those stupid bars. Useless.
  16. Definition of throttling on internet: Cell phone providers can legally throttle customers' Internet speeds to reduce congestion during peak hours or in densely populated cities;
  17. I generally check the strength of the signal so I know what to expect. I have never been slowed down to my knowledge. If I have it has not been noticeable.
  18. Call it what you want, if it slows me down it is throttling. nuances.
  19. Our Cricket phone has unlimited data and no throttling. I don't believe that plan is offered any longer, latest plan is 15G then maybe network prioritization which has never occurred and we used 80G for a couple of months.
  20. Also, check on Coachnet. FMCA has the same plan as the Escapees.
  21. Our Winnebago camera only worked when in reverse. We emailed Panasonic(maker of entertainment central that controlled camera) and they told us how to rewire it.
  22. Just a quick reply for now. Look at the Rockwood Roo TT. Our daughter had one and would travel with 4 kids, 2 hers + friends. Worked out fine.
  23. We also have one phone on ATT and one on Verizon(Visible). We picked up the ATT Mobley offering a while ago(2 years?) and it is $20 a month. Wherever we have gone in the US we mostly had service. Visible, once we final got ourselves sorted out works well. Just be aware that Visible only allows one connected item to its phone hotspot. Easily overcome. Just don't be surprised.
  24. I think your perception of throttling is not what is done today. I have an "unlimited" ATT plan that might be throttled after 22G if the network is busy. I have now had it for 2-3 years and never been throttled and I have used will over 22G for months at a time. I have not heard of anyone who has been throttled. Looks like the throttling threat is a CYA.
  25. If you are looking for a Dark Sky campground go to Wilderness Ranch in Hatch UT. Full hook-ups. Spacious sites, pull thru. The campground is in the middle of a ranch and you can see a part of Bryce in the close distance. Desert landscape. Central location between Bryce, Zion and Cedar Breaks. I have no association with this CG.
