  1. Don't you have a recycle bin?? It would be there. I am not a Mac user.
  2. Thanks everyone. I am now out of my funk and jury rigged the extra water pump to pump from the container to the tank. In testing, works find.
  3. We don't want to be tied to the internet so we have a Garmin RV660. We are also starting to use Rvripwizard with their RVlife app. The RVlife app allows you to download maps to your phone or tablet and drive your route without the internet. They cost $.
  4. Dutch, I don't rig is set up that way. Winterization doesn't flow into water tank and I don't feel like replumbing. One thing I find interesting is that nothing that has been recommended or that I looked at says for potable water. I even looked at Flojet and their RV pump doesn't say for potable water. Puzzled.
  5. We had thought about this but decided it would be too much for the once in a blue moon we need to do this. We like simpler, clear cut solutions. We are going to pursue using our extra water pump. Thanks
  6. Have to think about that. We normally carry a spare pump.
  7. This one is not for POTABLE water, that is a requirement.
  8. Never heard of the Jiggler pump before but interesting, wouldn't do us any good. we need a pump as we are going from low to high. Also, none of them say for potable water. Keep the ideas coming though. Kirk, Do you know of some other sort of small pump that would work rather than a drill pump. We don;t want to break the bank, this is just for backup.
  9. We have a 5 gal jug which is getting heavy to lift. Can anyone recommend a drill pump for potable water. We looked on Amazon and couldn't find any but there were many. Thanks
  10. I wouldn't even concern myself as to where you might end up in the future. Who knows? You can always change your mind and you will as you see different parts of this country. One less thing to think about. Pick one of the states aforementioned and start getting organized. If you need medical most of the time FL is your only choice. If you don't need to worry about medical then the field is wide open.
  11. We have been using Mymaps for years. Love all the layers and the ability to turn them on and off.
  12. No inspections needed if your vehicle is never in TX. We have a car that is registered in TX that has never been to the state, registered the car 5 year ago or so. You said " We don't yet know where we want to end up, (FL,TX,SD)". I don't understand that statement.
  13. If you have a Bushnell address you have a Livingston address. The Bushnell address is used for DL, registration, voting etc. When you applied for the Bushnell you should have received the Livingston address that you would use for all your mail.
  14. Why don't you just ask your insurance agent for a quote for TX insurance, then you would know. I assume you have health insurance since you didn't mention that. I also assume you are upgrading to full timer insurance on the Class A.
  15. Sorry about the delay in getting back Grandkids had strep throat so we were babysitting. Using a Baby Monitor app worked fine. the Wifi drops in an out a bit but it is OK for this application. We did find the microphone was super sensitive and had to turn of an electric heater we had running in the shed to hear the washer. Thanks Mark and Teri
  16. We bought the G1W dash cam several years ago. Works great and continually record when the car starts. $40 when we bought it.
  17. That was just a comparison of how many flu deaths occur, even knowing what it is(and having a shot available) vs. the few deaths from coronavirus.
  18. I didn't know that Visible organized the groups and kept a wait list for them. Are you sure? I was under the impression one had to form their own group and find a new member when one drops out.
  19. If anyone wants to form a group for Visible I am very willing to be a member.
  20. Thanks. I have everything set up to try the Android Baby Monitor app tomorrow. At least the dryer is consistent.
  21. OK. I dug out an old phone, charging now. I'll report back. If this works, we could also use it as an intercom(if we remember to turn it on). I knew the Escapees would have a solution.
  22. Son-in-law did not get a flu hot, got flu, went to Urgent Care and they prescribed some flu medicine. Mostly over the flu in a few days, the med stopped from morphing into nasty. I figure the flu shot is free, might as well get it.
  23. This has potential. Most Baby Monitors have video and the $$ show it. But then I read about taking an old cell phone and adding an app as a baby monitor. Most of them are video also, need to research. I will also stop by Goodwill to see what they have.
  24. The flu shot protects against what the CDC thinks will be the flu strains in the US each year.
