Frogman
Hi Folks, I have another rookie question. My question is about dash warning light. I the center of my instrument cluster I have the word " CHECK " show up in yellow. Right now I do not know what I should check. I need some guidance. My truck is a 2012 Volvo 610 with an I shift transmission. Just last week I put in 4 new batteries. At that time everything seemed to be ok. Another question or too. When the truck is running, what should be the voltage be ? How do I find what codes are causing the "CHECK" light to come on. Thank you for any help or ideas,
Jaydrvr
When the truck is running, the voltage should be at least 13.2, or higher. You should be able to run diagnostics in your driver information display by using the buttons on your wiper stalk. Jay
Wrknrvr
Time to read the operators manual. I know it is frustrating at this time, to even think about that. But that will get you on the correct path for understanding how to figure these problems out. More thinking follow.

Or extinguish when air pressure hits 60 psi? If stays on use stalk to find “vehicle messages” and it should tell you what to check. Wrknrvr
If you take a picture with your phone. Then you will have a date and time, along with what code is showing. Could be helpful with future reference at a glance. Thanks for the update.
Frogman
Hi Folks, Update (9/9). This is the fault that came up. Instrument cluster, MID 140 PSID 239 FM1 12. So far I have no idea what this fault is. I have followed the video with success but no success with resetting the fault. Not sure why. Any ideas guys ? Also I believe the truck has a new problem. I will start a new thread about that problem. I should have added this info. Also on the dash was this message. Volvo Link, Hardware Failure, Use Paper Logbook. Moresmoke
The two messages are related. You can plug your fault code into Google and get a fairly decent description. The Volvo link is a telematics module. Most likely not needed for HDT use. You will likely need programming done by a dealer to remove it.
