lappir
For only the second time I have had a no water in the morning when waking up. I have heat tape on the hydrant and hose to the connection inside the basement and I think that is still fine. Apparently there is a line somewhere inside that is close to the exterior wall and has frozen. Even the water pump won't give me water from my full tank. I usually don't stay hooked up during the winter and just fill the tank, but I've been more busy this year and it's hard to find the time to fill. Guess it will have to become more of a priority now. The Mini split is keeping the living area plenty warm and my electric heat near the water pump is keeping that area in the 60's, just need to find the cold spot. It's to warm up this weekend a bit and maybe I will be lucky. That would certainly make be think that same way. Sounds like somewhere the inside warm air isn't getting to a water line that is common to water from either the pump or the city connection. That should narrow the problem area down some. Edited January 9, 2022 by Kirk W correct typo Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... lappir
Temperature's rose today and I had the time to visit the basement to rearrange things. Water is running now and I haven't seen a leak so hopefully the next cold snap will be not noticed.
