inflatables are terrible boats ,wind blown and tiring to paddle .however In a cold water lake they are rolls royce comfortable. The high pressure ones are expensive ,like yacht tender dollars (which are a order of magnitude more) then camping dollars.

You're just up the road from Paul and Paula Gillenwater.  They're about 2 miles from the southern Sherhardsville exit.  And you're under two hours from us.

Too bad I'm only here for 2 days...then on to Iowa. I'd love to catch up with some good friends.

What part of Iowa, Phil? If close to Ottumwa, Iowa you have to stop at the Canteen in the Alley. If near Marshalltown it's an Original Maidrite.  Both places serve "Loose meat" sandwiches. Then on to the Pork Tenderloins. The best place is long gone, but almost any place that has them on the menue will be  good. Stay away from the "Port Fritter" at first. It's a less expensive alternative. I'm assuming you are still "Motel'ling" it. One of the hardest summer places to find a spot for a big rig was Iowa. Go figure.

Enjoy,

Give us a little more notice next time.  Especially if you happen to get close to Cincinnati.

Rick, I'll do that if I get up this way again. I'm doing some driver training and then moving on to the next job.

Rod, I don't have to worry about parking. The girls and I are in the company truck, doing the animal friendly hotel thing. Thanks for the restaurant recommendations.
