dometic rm2862 wont cool

That isn't much information for us to go on. Do you have 12V power available? Your refrigerator will not operate in any mode if you don't. Is there any odor of ammonia in the refrigerator or inside of the outside access panel? Any sign of a yellow substance in the back?

Just a guess since there is very little information to go on; if the frig has been operated outside design limits for long periods the coolant lines may be blocked, which is a permanent condition. The design limits are 3°side-to-side, 6° front-to-back, as looking at the frig door.

Heres a place to start, or just Google Dometic RM2862 Service Manuals

In the rear compartment where the 120 VAC cord plugs in, is there 120 VAC present in that receptacle??

In the same rear compartment there are two wires that should have 12 VDC present, is that so?? You need the 12 VDC to make it work in any mode and the 120 VAC outlet to be good for 120 VAC operation. Do any lights work on the top of fridge eyebrow panel??? Check fuses and circuit breakers to insure both 120 VAC as well as 12 VDC is present.
