Roadtrek 1
OK... not a financial question... surprise! How many of you actually use your shower ? And do you find it a challenge to keep the mildew and moisture under control especially on the shower curtain?
sandsys
Once a week with sponge baths in between. Wipe down everything with a microfiber cloth after shower, instantly everything is clean. We've normally used campground facilities ... when it's not too cold. I think of the shower as an "option" mainly in an emergency. We have a shower he with an on off switch.... I'm not sure it's ever been used even by the original owners? The "wet bath" was not my most favorite feature of my rig, but, it's not horrible. svRV
Neil, on Ultramobility, did a good video last week of using the shower in his Pleasure-Way Ascent, one of smaller class B models.https://youtu.be/QZcTIh9dDKU

You "imagine" so many things that are not truly relevant. I had no mold on the shower curtain in any of our rigs. Just turn on the vent fan before you start your shower and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth when done and you will be fine. I tried using campground facilities and found them to be more work than they were worth--to me. Dreed917
I use a chamois to dry out my wet shower. The same kind some use after washing a car. I've never had a problem with the shower curtain, I don't fold it up until it's dried itself. Dave 04 Excel TD

Minnesota, land of 10,00 lakes, is more humid than Arizona the latter of which is where I mostly used my shower. veteranX2
Yes, if there are no CG shower facilities, or they are not in good order. I always wipe down the wet bath and air out the curtain after I use it. Quote 2011 Roadtrek 190 Popular North Carolina
trostberg
I like the Oxygenics as well but put a shut off valve in line near the head to easily shut the water off. I prefer not to use my shower because of the small size but with COVID now many of the showers are closed and I would not want to use them anyway. I take a shower at night and allow my curtain to dry out open overnight and run the fan. A squeegee to wick the water off the walls and direct it to the floor drain works well too Edited July 29, 2020 by trostberg
Blazeman
Yes, we have a 2017 airstream interstate grand tour ext. and we (wife, and I)do use the shower. I did remove the soap dispenser, and added this shower shelf over the toilet. Works well... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083PWCYSF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=
