SuiteSuccess
On their site there is an HDT parked in one of their Super Sites. Would like some feedback on campground if anyone has been there. remoandiris
You will have no problems there. Wide open spaces and gravel road/sites. Check RV Park Reviews (now called Campground Reviews). Far enough from the highway to greatly reduce the highway noise, but close enough to see the vehicles going by. http://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/montana/garryowen/7th-ranch-rv-camp-1677?reviews_by=newest&page=
JRP
I think its been 6 yrs since I was there. My recollection is they had a dozen of extra long sites suitable for my Volvo 610 and Teton (both sold now). I was there early in the season and had a choice of sites and lots of maneuvering room. At peak season when they're filled up every day conditions might be different and there could be lots of extra vehicles parked half out in the traffic lane where you need space for a wide swing. Some sites are cut into the hillside in a terraced arrangement with uphill approach lanes. I was only there for 2 nights, and it was convenient for getting an early start on the battlefield tours. I had no issues, but it was 2/3 'rds empty at the time. Its not a "resort" type place, but has everything for a comfortable stay. There is not a lot nearby other than the Battlefield; limited fuel, grocery & restaurant options. Jim
chindog
Overall, it's a pretty nice park. The sites are gravel, and we had a little trouble leveling because the jacks sunk down about 4", but we did get level. The road to the park is like a washboard, but once you get into the park, the gravel roads are OK. We were on an end site, and had a fairly large grassy patio and a small tree, with a sunflower garden toward the rear. We would definitely go back. And, we got a 15% discount with our Escapees membership card. Mike and Retha Hopkins 2014 Fleetwood Discovery 40G
