Hi Everyone,

My trailer does not have a wrap around cover on the awning. How many people are using an awning cover to protect their awning during the winter ? For the people using a cover, is it worth the
cost ? How easy is it to install ? The company name that I have found is Pro-Tech for the awning cover. Does anyone use this brand ? If so, what do you think of the cover ? Is there anything that I have missed ? Looking for comments and opinions.

Thanks for any input,
Al

We have a canvas Carefree of Colorado awning with metal wrap around cover , OEM .

The awning is 19 years old and the canvas is in excellent condition . We have it out most of the time . Just last Summer , I restitched every seam and edge .

I'd say the cover is well worth having .

I only wish my slide awnings had similar covers .

Goes around , comes around .

A few years ago, I watched a fellow winterizing his RV, including installing his homemade awning cover. His was very similar to this one on YouTube:
