RKMoezee
Has any one signed up with Volvo for a select parts account? It looks like you can see a parts book online with your Vin # and I don't see any mention of cost but before I sign up I was wanting any real life reviews. Anyone have another way of getting parts book? If I can see a diagram I can usually figure how to take it apart. Back together maybe not so much. COFLTravler
Just yesterday I asked my local Volvo dealer - Denver, about this and was told the cost was $800 a year to have access to my parts book on line for my VIN...... 2014 HDT Volvo 780 "Baby Bird"2016 Smart Car "Baby Bird Turd" - on the back2020 Momentum 376THSWe're both proud USAF Retirees... Pat & Pete
I don't have a Volvo , but I read a lot of the HDT threads . Sure seems like HDT dealers / manufacturers are a greedy bunch . You'd almost think they were in cahoots with the RV industry . LOL Goes around , comes around .
RKMoezee
Wow that really don't sound very promising. I hadn't seen that part. I'm glad I asked.

Imurphy907
not sure where the "not" come from. Yes, I have submitted an account application thru Volvos website 3 times in the last month. And have not heard anything back either time. 2016 Road Warrior 420 2001 Volvo VNL 660 Alaska Based.
COFLTravler
Yea me too...submitted on line once about 5 months ago and never heard back...they told me they are really catering to companies versus individuals....I'm not too happy, but what are you going to do...so now I call the dealership have them look up the parts and pay the high price! Gotta love my Volvo.... 2014 HDT Volvo 780 "Baby Bird"2016 Smart Car "Baby Bird Turd" - on the back2020 Momentum 376THSWe're both proud USAF Retirees... Jack Mayer
When I get a chance I'll check on it. I should be able to get an account with no problem since we are a converter. If it costs money then I'd have to consider the cost/reward benefit. Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's.
